Hearthstone Farm B & B is a 16th century farmhouse located near Riber village, Matlock. It is a little difficult to find driving the steep, winding lanes, but is worth the effort. We were welcomed with tea and generous slices of Victoria sponge cake (Mary Berry eat your heart out!). Our room was not large but very comfortable and well...

Booked a stay at The Old Workshop last weekend. The location was stunning and the cottage was out of this world. Top quality furnishings, cupcakes on arrival. Definitely a place to relax in. We will return as it was perfect.

Together with my brother and sister in law, my wife and I had a lovely weekend exploring the Peak district and staying at The Workshop, at Hearthstone Farm. The converted barn was spectacular, and very comfortable indeed. This is one of a number of rental properties the Farm offers, and it is our second visit. There are two double bedrooms...

How often are we disappointed by attractions that do not live up to their reputations. No worries on that score with Hearthstone Farm B&B. The quality of the location, premises and facilities are only bettered by the warmest of welcomes offered by the owners, Joyce and Ian (and their beautiful Labrador Millie). They could not have been more helpful in...

This was our fourth stay over ten years. This is the only place we keep finding we want to return to. So comfy, friendly, and relaxing. Before mentioning delicious breakfasts and highest standards of simply everything. Thank you Joyce and Ian. We will be back ere long.

I stayed in this gorgeous farm house hotel with my children and my sister and we were all delighted with our visit. We were given an extremely warm welcome (warm in every way, as the living room area has a super fire!) and our rooms were just delightful. There is so much to do in the area that we wished...

We only stayed at the farm overnight but nothing was too much trouble for the couple that own the place. They are extremely friendly and very likeable and tend to any needs that you have. The room was good and the bed comfortable, we had a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was plentiful with fruit, cereal, toast and full english...

I found this place on a site advertising dog friendly B & B's and knew nothing about it except what the site offered. As it was only one night, decided to take a risk which really paid off. We were made very welcome on arrival , shown our room and given excellent advice on where to go to eat. The...
