We arrived in pouring rain to a full car park & a sign saying no cars past this point. Had to park a long way from reception & got soaked getting there , not a good start. We were staying in a cottage which was well & comfortably furnished with everything we needed. It was not warm in there, no instructions for the electric heating. It did warm up gradually, but the whole three days it was cool rather than warm. Was pleased to have a t.v in the bedroom, not pleased when the china fleet advert kept appearing and covering the picture, couldn't get rid of it had to change channel. It seemed to pop up on any channel & was extremely annoying. Lots of good facilities that the family used, gym, table tennis, swimming pool saunas etc. The awful weather stopped us from doing anything outside but I'm sure in good weather it would be great.…

Thank you for your review following your recent stay with us, we are glad you enjoyed your stay and managed to use many of the facilities. Our apartment radiators can all be controlled at the heater and instructions can be found within the information booklet in the room. Our hotel team can also remotely change the heating should you ever need any assistance. We are unsure what the issue with the television was as we do not have an TV information system connected. We haven’t been able to replicate this issue but will of course monitor closely. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back in the near future.

Had a lovely stay, excellent location for trips into both Devon and Cornwall. Room had everything we needed and was nice, clean and comfortable. Adventure golf was good fun. Staff were nice and friendly

Booked the China fleet club last minute and was glad I did. This is an amazing complex with great facilities. The apartment was very well equipped and the bed was very comfy. Spa facilities were also an added bonus which can be used free of charge during your stay and even for the day of check out. Breakfast was an all you can eat buffet with lots of choice. Overall this was a fantastic stay which I would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

From first contact booking to checking out staff were great, very friendly and warm. No need to take loads of extras like pool towels, washing up liquid, tea towels, bin bags - all already waiting for you. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Initially stayed as a couple in May (fantastic weather), then returned with family in July (terrible weather!). Really great place. Perfect accommodation. Lovely pool. Woodland golf and the driving range are great. Dinner in the restaurant was really very good. Nice walk along the river - beautiful location. Very handy base for exploring Plymouth/South Devon and Cornwall. We will definitely be back.

Spa break plus additional two day break to visit friends. We have been here for a wedding and wanted to return to enjoy the facilities and grounds.Great location for access to Plymouth and surrounding areas. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. I had the ‘Hands on heart’ cancer therapy- it was so calming and expertly provided- I would recommend this. My husband also had a massage and then we accessed the Aquaspa which was excellent and not too busy. The food was good quality, but wished the bar had alcohol free wine available, or G&T! We are going back early in the New Year!

What a lovely setting for a break away with friends. The staff were so very friendly right from the moment we arrived to the time we left. All the rooms were clean and had all the required equipment for a comfortable stay. Will definitely stay again!

18 of us spent 5 days 4 nights on a golfing break at the China Fleet Country Club. We've been going for years. As per usual the accommodation is always first class, the golf course challenging and well presented, and excellent food. In every department the staff are professional, attentive, and interested in ensuring your stay is the best it can possibly be. However, on this occasion, I have to single out the food. Outstanding on every level. Breakfast - lots to choose from, all freshly cooked, and delicious. Evening meal - a huge menu and every meal was of the highest quality. The head chef and his team obviously take a huge pride in every dish that leaves the kitchen. The Starters Hut at the First Tee, you won't find a better Cornish Pasty. Superb, faultless, and can't wait for our return next year. …

Fab place - have already re-booked. Staff where friendly and helpful. Our rooms/Apartments were excellent. Food very good value. Our whole stay was a great success. Golf trip well organised and we did not have time to use all the other facilities but they looked to be well organised. The whole place was clean and tidy - inside and out.
