I stayed with my family at Susi an Johns B&B on our way to Scotland and enjoyed it very much! The next day was my sweetheart's Birthday snd they arranged a beautiful breakfast table for her. We stay there again on our way home and all of us are looking forward to meet them again! :-)) We highly recommend this... More

Stayed at this B&B over 4 nights while walking the Ripon Rowel. It's located on the west side of Ripon just over a kilometre from the city centre. The internal decor's a bit "tired". Accommodation (in what I believe is the smaller of the en-suite rooms) was a bit cramped. The en-suite had the added problems of an ill fitting/broken... More

Reasonable price, but there are trade-offs: -quiet -15 min walk to town centre -friendly and helpful -nice breakfast On the not so great side -uncomfortable bed -very small bathroom, virtually no closet space -low quality bedding and towels -tired and old furnishings and decor - don't go for the ambiance.

We stayed here for two nights in early July, we were met on the drive by the owner who was so welcoming after our late arrival. We were shown to our spacious room, with was very comfortable, with plentiful tea and coffee making facilities. In the morning, there was a great choice for breakfast, including fruit and cereal and great... More

We stayed for 1 evening with friends as had a party to attend in Ripon. We were warmly welcomed by John and Susi and shown to a very large double ensuite room. The room also has an additional bedroom attached with 2 single beds, perfect for our children if we return again. Susi ordered us a taxi into town, although... More

This is a lovely B&B, we were made to feel welcome, I would be more than happy to recommend, this to anyone wanting to stay in the area. It could do with some updating, wood chip on the walls, and a bit pink, and no shampoo or hairdryer in room, but host was more than happy to lend you dryer. However... More

We were working at a nearby Event and stayed here. We received a very warm welcome. The Rooms are very clean and tidy, equipped with everything you might need. The price is very reasonable. Reading the reviews I Think some people expect a little too much. It's not a hotel it like staying at a very friendly persons house for... More

We received a very warm welcome here after a wet day 1 of our Coast to Coast cycle ride. The owners couldn't do enough for us, immediately offering to dry our wet things in front of the aga and storing our bikes securely in the garage. The room was a good size with ensuite. We received a hearty cooked breakfast... More

We stayed at Bishopton Grove on the second night of our five day cycle trip (Way of the Roses), and had a really enjoyable experience there. We had a large bedroom capable of sleeping the three of us quite comfortably due to the configuration of the room, which also had an ensuite shower etc. A large lounge area downstairs was... More

I stayed here whilst attempting the Way of the Roses cycle route over two days. The welcome I received was extremely warm and friendly, especially after such a tough day of cycling from Morecambe in the baking heat. My bike was locked in the garage over night and the single room i stayed in was just what i needed. powerful... More
