Dear Sandra G, It was lovely having you and the dogs to stay. I do miss not having the constant patter of little paws around the house! Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to write a review, I know how busy you are. Now you know where we are, and the dogs know the lay-out, I hope you will all come back again before too long. Kind regards, Libs

Where do I start, well ,My husband and I had a fab 3 days staying at Mickley B&B. Super warm welcome. Libs is a very warm and friendly lady. Felt like we have known her for years. She is very attentive to all her guests. 1st class all round. Excellent breakfast . (fried bread the best we have ever tasted, Its to die for) Our room extremely clean and comfortable . Slept like a log. The separate sitting room which was fantastic. We had our cup of tea/coffee sat in there every morning. Large bathroom with everything in that you could want. Can't wait till we stay there again. All in all a special place to stay in a super quiet village. : )

Dear jennycampbell252, What a fantastic review :-) thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to write it. The house seemed very quiet after you had all gone - it is so nice having guests to stay once again, but such a shame that we were only allowed to open almost at the end of the season. I look forward to your return visit; the autumnal colours at Hackfall are second to none so maybe see you then?! Thank you once again for the beautiful flowers, they have all opened up now and sit in pride of place on my kitchen table. Libs :-)

We stayed at Mickley B &B for 3 nights with our Jack Russell Tess. What a fabulous welcome we received by our wonderful host Libs. She was delighted we were bringing our dog and as soon as we got there Libs said take her off the lead and she made herself at home. We had a wonderful room with an en-suite bathroom and a separate sitting room which was fantastic. The bedroom was very country chic very pretty and tasteful and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the service was second to non. Libs is a very warm and friendly lady who caters brilliantly for the needs of her guests. When it comes to places to visit Libs has lots of suggestions and for us she even checked out doggy friendly places to visit and doggy friendly pubs too. This B &B is a little gem and anyone who stays there will have a lovely time. We will be staying here again hopefully in the not to distant future. Can’t wait!!

Dear Laniey65, Thank you so much for taking the time and writing such a wonderful review. It was lovely having both of you and Tess the Terrier to stay. You were my first guests after we had been released back in to the wild from Lockdown and it was so nice to have the patter of feet around the house again! I look forward to your return visit and by then hopefully you will be able to just turn up at Fountains Abbey and not have to book in advance. Kind regards and stay safe. Libs

We absolutely loved our stay in Mickley Bed and Breakfast. Libs could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Our 3 children felt very at home and our dog loved it so much she didn't want to leave. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We wished we could have stayed longer and will certainly be visiting again.

Dear Pifftraveller, What a lovely review - thank you so very much for taking the time and trouble to write it. I really enjoyed having you all to stay and was very sad when your dog decided she would leave with you after all! You should be home by now - I hope you had a good rest of your trip away and a good journey home. I look forward to seeing you all again when you next come up. Kind regards, Libs TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2013-2018

We have just checked out of the Mickley bed and breakfast and what a delightful stay we have had there. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely lady who runs it and it provides everything you need for a home from home weekend away. The breakfast was fantastic and all in all we have had such a lovely time. We will definitely be back.

Dear Debsdit, Thank you so much; a lovely review and so kind of you to take the time and effort to do one… especially such a good one! 😃 It was lovely having you both to stay and I am so glad you would like to come back, I look forward to it. We never got to the sheep fair in the end – it was the pouring rain that put us off, we should have gone on Saturday when the sun was out but there is always next year. Kind regards, Libs TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2013 – 2018
