Stayed here for a few nights this week and it was a wonderfull experience. The hosts are lovely friendly people and the food is fantastic. Whatever your taste, the chef creates some magical flavours. Tryed the fillet steak, Cod, Langostines, all were fantastic. Their sweets are to die for as well. Thoroughly recommend a visit here if your in the... More

The hosts, Edwin and Anna-Marie, were very welcoming and worked hard to make sure that we had a very comfortable visit. We stayed for four nights with breakfast and two dinners which was excellent value. The chef is very good and the meals were lovely. We would thoroughly recommend it for a quiet stay in a lovely village with access... More

Lunched here once again on Sunday 3 July. The friendly welcome by the Dutch owners never fails to warm the heart and we were so pleased that the food continues with its high standard. We always have to plan our route to be near enough to have AT LEAST one meal during our short trip. The steak was cooked to... More

Great welcome at this little gem of a village hotel, full of character and with an excellent restaurant. Try the salade Quercynoise as a starter, with smoked duck, gesiers and fresh foie gras. Good local produce and local wines

Could not have been made more welcome at this charming hotel, in a most charming village. The attention to our welcome and check in, plus the standard of service throughout was exceptional. The food divine. Have experienced many similar small hotels in this region of France before but this one takes the cake! Only stayed 2 nights but wish it... More

We have been visiting this Hostellerie in the Lot for 3 years - it has never disappointed. This year we were a party of 7 for lunch. We hadn't reserved a table - but no fuss.... A beautiful warm sunny day, sitting on the terrace under the parasols, Bliss!!! The lunch was absolutely delicious and served with such aplomb and... More

Perfect location for a small village hotel with comfortable guest room and an excellent restaurant. We had travelled from Los Angeles and were looking for a nice hotel with a restaurant as we were hungry and tired and the chef offered to stay late to prepare our meal. The hosts are a charming couple who went out of their way... More

Restaurant is great with attentive hosts, the B&B is very good, comfortable beds and the village is quite delightful. Take a walk, late evening or early morning around the ancient buildings in the golden sunlight. Perfect relaxation.

I first came to this most magnificent little Hostellerie in September 2012, because it only had five rooms, how perfect. I stayed there 2 nights but could have stayed more and made this my center of operations, but my vacation was coming to a close and I needed to get back to Paris. Let me add the food was out... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The HostellerieHostellerie de Goujounac is a one-time coaching inn, located in the lovely centre of medieval Goujounac, 29 kilometres west of Cahors en 9 kilometres south of Cazals, in the Lot valley. It offers a cosy bar, a small and a big restaurant, a lounge, a terrace and a wonderfully secluded garden.Goujounacs building style is traditional. It's fun to stroll past the characteristic houses in the villages centre, dominated by a 12th century Romanesque church, proof of the fact that Goujounac was founded long ago. The majority of the approximately 220 inhabitants are French. Other residents are mostly Portuguese, English, Belgian and Dutch, who have found their (second) home here or in the near surroundings. At night it is peacefully quiet and during the day you'll find a pleasant hustle and bustle. It is situated on the D660, between Cahors, Bergerac, Fumel and Gourdon. ... more   less
