This place is in an excellent location and very comfortable. Really nice Little studio apartment.wuite homely and cozy. I wasn't happy however, with whoever was pottering around outside the room at 8am on a Sunday morning. The windows rattled when car doors were shut etc. It was a big let down.

Sorry Yasmine I was the guilty party ,surprised to hear it was as early as 8 am I would not of put it so early---I assure you it was a one off thing and would never happen again but there were very unusual circumstances---I feel guilty and now and recall you came to go to a friends party on the...

Wonderful self contained studio, own back entrance, very private and walking distance to hospital and shops. Situated at rear of home so very quiet. Great little kitchen and washing machine. Owners very friendly and happy to accommodate any request from you.

We had a wonderful stay at Myrtle Cottage. We were made very welcome by Vincent and Jackie. The room was very comfortable, and plenty of room even with twin beds (I believe they can be zipped together to make a double). We stayed in the room inside the main cottage, and really enjoyed having the extra space of the living...

I had the pleasure of staying at Myrtle Cottage for ten nights. The studio was clean, well equipped with a self contained kitchen, ensuite and even a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable. Myrtle Cottage is located in a quiet leafy street. It is a short walk to cafes, restaurants, The Mater Hospital, North Sydney Oval and Crows Nest...

This B&B is in a PERFECT location and is very handy to the great Sydney transport network. However, previous reviews may give an unrealistic expectation of what to expect at Myrtle Cottage. We were booked into the separate fully self-contained garden studio, which In reality is little more than a self-contained sleep out, crammed into a rear corner of the...

We would like to thank the reviewer for her input but think it was pretty harsh and would like to answer her criticisms one by one. To call the studio accommodation a "sleep out" is harsh indeed as it has been total renovated to the allowable requirements by the council as our photos will confirm new bathroom and laundry ect....

Myrtle Cottage is a great B and B. We stayed there when we went to Sydney for our grandson's baptism and it was handy to our daughter's place. The hosts, Vince and Jacqui are lovely, and were very accommodating. We appreciated this very much. Thank you guys for everything! I would recommend this place to friends anytime.

We have stayed at Myrtle Cottage several times (both in the separate flat with kitchen & laundry, and in the spacious ensuite room in the cottage itself) when we have visited our hometown whilst living overseas. The location is awesomely convenient, the accommodations quiet, yet it is a short walk to get to bus lines to take you all over...

Just a short walk to the end of the street is a major road where there are so many bus routes that one doesn't really need a time table. My wife and I are both in our 60's and also walked the bit further to the train. It is also a beautiful walk across the Harbour Bridge into town. However...

We stayed there for about a week with my 2 year old and it was a very comfortable stay. Cleanliness is spot on, and Jackie and Vincent went out of their way to make things even better for us. And the location is the best part , eating joints , bus stops and coffee shops - all within very much...
