We travelled 9 hours only to be told by our Motel in Proserpine they were overbooked and had no rooms at the Inn. With wife and 2 nervous young kids in tow, we desperately called into every Hotel/Caravan Park we could searching for accommodation, all booked out due to a League Carnival. Club Croc had one room available, no aircon,...

Budget room although comfortable and large enough to accommodate us all. A bit noisy as was junior footy weekend. No restaurant onsite. But within walking distance to restaurants. Friendly staff. Kids loved the pool.

We booked a re-furbished room but didn't pay the extra for a superior room. We were on the end and had a view over the road to the ocean from our balcony which was nice. The room was adequate for our requirements and we had no issues with noise or smoke (perhaps because we were on the end). Staff were...

Room was good size, a little worst for wear, but overall a pleasant stay & close to most things. Only negative things would be no restaurant for lunch dinner & the room curtain didn't close fully and had to use a clip to stop people being able to see in. I would stay again as cheap price for reasonable room.

Easy to book online with honest information about the hotel. We were expecting a budget accommodation and that's what it was. Kids had lots of fun in the pool because, well, kids love pools. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A cheap place to stay. Rooms are nice and clean. Beds comfy. It is close to everything. About a 2.6km walk along the board walk to the lagoon and main center of Airlie. Would prefer a separate smoking room area as you walk out of your room and are inundated with cigarette smell as people sit outside their rooms and...

Initial phone call to hotel regarding availability was very poor advised nothing was available. Decided to look online. Showed a room available so I booked. Called to confirm booking as was met with a very abrupt employee who also seemed to be annoyed i was able to book online. Emily was the nicest out of all 3 people spoken with....

We needed a late night lodging and Club Croc was fine for a good rest before a 3 day catamaran trip. Even though we were close to the main road, our room was quiet enough for a good sleep. We did not have enough time to check out any of the amenities on the property.

hotel looked very shabby, towels had holes in them, floors weren't vacuumed, could hear neighbour above us going to the toilet, could hear other visitors partying all night. wet musty smell from carpet in hallway was at times overpowering. disappointed in the decline of this establishment was once a 5 star hotel now more like a backpackers hostel in much...

After seeing the reviews on Tripadvisor I was fairly apprehensive about Club Croc Hotel but, being a last minute booking and only for one night, we thought we would risk it. I honestly have to say that yes - the facilities and building are old and tired looking and in need of revamping. But the accommodation however was very good...
