A fab place. My wife and I arrived and Jackie was there in the garden to greet us. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning couldn’t be faulted, I had the full English and my wife had the veggie version. I would happily come again if in the area.

Initd to a 70th birthday party at the cricket club and friends booked us in here. Very warm welcome and a homely feeling. Comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast. We were worried about coming in late from the party but we were given a key for he front door.

A very pretty pleasant village.1 pub is all we could find. However, there is a good train service into York and return trains also run quite late. The B&B is a quaint lovely place. The host was excellent, as was the breakfast. Recommended.

What a beautiful B&B. Jackie is a fantastic host. Really welcoming. The accommodation is fantastic. Lovely double fronted cottage with stunning garden. Spotlessly clean. So many lovely touches to make you feel welcome. Short walk to station to give you access to major cities. Highly recommended.

Ticked all the usual boxes, Quite, comfortable, clean, friendly and great breakfast. I would have paid more! Jackie was the perfect host and I was made to feel really welcome. Home is spacious and modern and very clean. A great deal of pride has gone into this home and business. Great place to stay, I think that's praise indeed as I travel a lot and I think I'm quite fussy.
