I was in Kenmare last week (19-22 Aug) and booked the apartment at Ceol na hAbhann. I was really pleased with the location and Therese was so welcoming. The apartment was spotless and well equipped and the scones left at the door each morning were addictive. It's a 15 minute walk into Kenmare and there is a footpath for most of it. I recommend O'Shea's without hesitation and hope I'll get back again soon

We booked a room at OSheas for 4 nights early April with our two kids, 10 and 11 years old. It was just wonderful here. Therese was so welcoming and kind. Breakfast was amazing (her scones are THE BEST we have ever had). She went out of her way to help with local travel ideas, customize our breakfast options (kids looked forward to pancakes every day) and just make us feel at home. I can't imagine a better experience for our family. Thank you Therese for everything. Our family has been through a lot in the past couple of years and this was absolutely the perfect getaway from it all. I know that when our kids grow up, they will remember our time with you. We hope to come back some day! Thank you for everything.

Therese was very welcoming and was the same when I originally called her to make the reservation. I used a credit card to hold the reservation, although she was very clear about payment in cash, but that was not a problem. We booked a triple room, and it was very comfortable. Therese made us a wonderful breakfast, either full Irish or cooked to order. I am generally not a fan of scones, but I loved the ones she made fresh every morning. They are honestly the best I've ever had: good consistency and nicely browned on top; they don't get any better than that! Therese also gave us good advice on the Ring of Kerry and Dingle (from the tourist's point of view). The B&B was a little bit outside of town, but this is not a problem if you have a car. We had a most enjoyable stay!

This was the best accommodation on our 8 day trip to Ireland…Thank you Therese and John. Location is perfect, just outside the lovely town of Kenmare. Our room was beautiful, cosy, bright, and the bed sooo comfortable. But the best was yet to come…the wonderful breakfast served by Therese and John, which included soda bread and scones to die for, baked to perfection by Therese. This was hosting and Irish hospitality at it’s very best. Thanks again and best wishes to you both.💚

I cannot express enough, the wonderful experience we had at O'Shea's and the hostess, Therese. The rooms were wonderful, plenty of room, hot shower, coffee pot, blow dryer, decor - everything was great. The farm is beautiful - it is a wonderful Irish setting! Therese was extremely helpful about planning our time in the area and her breakfast is fabulous. The area is Kenmare, a perfect Irish town - small enough to be homey and not overly crowded, but big enough to have plenty of pub, food and music choices. Thank you, Therese! You made our trip unforgettable!

We stayed for two nights at O'Sheas Ceol Na Habhann B&B. Therese greeted us right away. Our ensuite room was a good size and our beds were comfortable. The parking is plentiful for all guests. Therese is very welcoming, helpful, and kind. This B&B has quite a few rooms. Her breakfast was delicious. She made me crepes - with nutella, bananas, and light syrup. She was very helpful in helping us plan our itinerary with regard to the weather. Her recommendations for dinner were very good. It is a short drive to walk around the cute town, with the streets full of dining options. We picked this B&B from bandbireland.com given to us by our travel company. We enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this B&B.

O'Shea's is the best stay in Kenmare. Therese has a beautiful b&b located outside of Kenmare by the river (hence the name Music of the River). Our room was spotless and fully stocked to ensure a great stay. Therese's breakfast are beautiful and filling. Our family is in awe of the scrambled eggs here (especially with smoked salmon). The best thing about O'Shea's is that Therese treats you as family. Thank you Therese!

We had a superb one night stay here recently. Great family rooms with well maintained facilities and other great areas such as a seperate TV room. It’s close enough to town but you’ll feel nicely tucked away up the hill. Breakfast the next day was exceptional as well as the freshly baked scones. I believe the host was Teresa, thank you for making us feel welcome.

I would say the same as above. There are no sidewalks and the road is narrow. But Therese is a dear and did drive my Mom and I into town when my brother took the rental car to his golf tee-time. Parking in town is not too bad either. We were there in October and had no trouble finding places to park.
There are more places to choose from in the Kenmare area.
