Do not wander into 'The wander Inn'. They are only interested in tourists - we are Irish & in Kenmare on business. We called into the Wander Inn for something to eat to be told by the barman that the kitchen was closed. 10 minutes later 4 Americans came in - were seated at a table for 4 and allowed... More

Doesn't look very impressive from the outside but the room was very modern and clean. No breakfast available but the price was good for the one night. Kenmare is a lovely town. I would recommend going there.

As usual we were a bit unorganised when it came to arranging our accommodation for a wedding we were invited to in Kenmare. The cost of staying at the hotel where the wedding was being hosted was pretty pricey considering we knew we would not be spending much time in the room. After a couple of hours trawling for anything... More

We didn't stay here but popped in (3 adults and 2 kids, 3 and 12), all starving hungry at 6.15 on a Thursday evening, hoping that we could get a sandwich and a few chips after an afternoon out on Kenmare Bay. We actually got a fantastic meal, a menu that catered for everybody - a superb burger, a chicken... More

stopped a night here last week, lovely clean room and a warm welcome from staff, bar was full of locals and holiday makers. Kenmare is beautiful town and The Wander is in the main street and ideally situated for The Ring of Kerry

We went to a BBQ here and it was great. There was Music, food, drink, family and friends. Could not ask for more than this. Had a lovely evening. Reasonable prices for drinks and friendly helpful staff.

I know it's a pub with rooms, but do the rooms have to be so drub and filthy? Rent a carpet steamer once in a blue moon! Really people! Couldn't bring myself to relax in here. The music at night was pretty dreadful as well.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for one night during a roadtrip around Ireland. The room was clean, nothing too fancy. The bathroom was on the small side, but the shower was powerful and everything was well-cleaned so can't complain. There was no breakfast included, however guests were free to avail of breakfast in the sister hotel down the road (we... More

We ate here recently after a long day cycling around Kerry. I guess the waitress had a long day too as she practically threw our food at us then disappeared! Our friends joined us just after we got our starters but as it was 20:05 the kitchen was closed which was really disappointing. The fish sandwich was amazing...really decent size... More
