It's been many years since I visited Longueville House but I am already planning a return visit. On this occasion we were only able to spend one night here but the relaxation, comfort and homely luxury experience made it feel like a longer escape to recharge the batteries. We arrived to a roaring log fire and had a lovely bowl... More

A one night get away (without the kids) allowed us to be lord and lady of the manor. Aisling was the perfect hostess and gave us such a warm welcome and explained the operational side of the estate in great detail. We munched our way around the walled garden sampling the finest fresh fruit, - the purple apples are a... More

We found this place very relaxing. Staff were v welcoming and were helpful and efficient throughout our stay. We were not that delighted with our first room and they changed it without us even asking them two - smart service IMO. Grounds were lovely and we enjoyed walking them even in the rain - I quite liked that it is... More

Four of us spent 3 delightful days and nights at the Longueville house . From the moment we walked in, greeted by the 5 dogs, and warm and friendly host, hostess and staff the experience was memorable. The food, cider and the bucolic surroundings of a working estate were all outstanding. The rooms spacious, clean and well maintained. The daughter... More

A very difficult review to do. I don't think I've ever come away from a place with such polar opposite feelings. I'll start with the positives... 1. The welcome from staff was warm and the level of service overall was of a very high standard. 2. The food was excellent quality. We had a dietary requirement and the chef really... More

My wife surprised with me with a couple days stay at the Longueville House. What an amazing place, from the grounds to the food everything was just incredible. I got to see first hand why the restaurant wins so many awards, the food was so incredibly fresh tasting. I had the pleasure of fly fishing on the river for two... More

The best Sunday lunch anywhere in the world. Everything is so fresh and great taste. The staff are so nice. It is a wonderful place to visit. You get the feeling of history and Longuville is like a step back in time to a different age

Everything was excellent - the service, the room, the location and all the amenities. We also enjoyed the location, the sightseeing, the restaurants and that it had free internet and free wifi. I would recommend this hotel.

We attended a family wedding at Longueville House this past weekend. It was wonderful. The beautiful old house, the walled gardens, courtyard, acres of orchards, the Victorian conservatory in which the wedding dinner was served - all stunning. The level of attention to detail and the graceful service by all staff was very much appreciated. The bedroom was spacious and... More

We love Longueville House. Having stayed there on a number of occasions, we have grown to expect excellence. It's also not cheap, i.e. we spent eur600+ for a one night stay for 2 adults and 2 kids. However, this recent trip was disappointing. The physical appearance needs some improvement (e.g. severley 'pot-holed' road into the House and overgrown gardens). No... More
