We had seen the pictures of this B&B online and were anxious in anticipation of our stay! After turning off the street onto the drive up to the house it rose out of the woods and stood very stately, with the sun setting behind. When we arrived, we knocked on the door and Cheryl answered. We were embarrassed because we...

Stayed for just one night ( more's the pity ) but had a lovely time. We arrived a little early but were greeted with a smile and tea and cake in the sitting room. Our room was spotless as was the bathroom and toilet. Cheryl our host could not do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast...

We were welcomed into this lovely, quiet country house, and served tea and cake in the lounge after being shown our pleasant room. Cheryl suggested restaurants we might like to try and a bar with live music in Midleton, and booked the restaurant when we'd decided. Brian drove us into Midleton so that we didn't need to take the car,...

I don't what I liked the most. The atmosphere, the food, the owners, the location, or the service. My favorite place! The owners could not be more accommodating and food could not be fresher. The grounds are beautiful ! Wonderful bed and breakfast.

.......in what feels like your own Irish country mansion - Loughcarrig House. The hosts do everything possible to make you feel at home in this splendid house, in its lovely setting with a fabulous outlook. Great location for touring by car, or just staying put and enjoying the life of Reilly.

We stayed 3 nights - very pleased with location for easy access to Cork and the surrounding coast and country. Peaceful beautiful waterside location. Imposing house and super welcoming hosts. Cherry took us to local restaurant in her car so we wouldn't need to drive and arranged for restaurant staff to bring us back - she also provided lots of...

Loughcarrig B&B was the worst of the 12 accomodations my sister and I stayed in Ireland and the only one with which we were unhappy. (Bantry House, our splurge, was by far the most wonderful. The two hostels, one in Dingle and one in Ennis, were clean and perfectly great, far superior to Loughcarrig.) The trip from Midleton to Loughcarrig,...

We stayed for 4 nights at this wonderful B&B. Brian and Cheryl are true hosts and gave us a beautiful stay feeling like a home away from home. Nothing is ever too much trouble, breakfast is abundant and whenever you would like in the morning, set in the most lovely of settings overlooking the water. With a lounge to make...
