Had a great stay. Loved the little library. Food was good and the rooms were clean. Room service breakfast was great after a night out. Only downside was the beds were a little on the hard side for us. Would stay again.

The hotel is on the main shopping street of the town. Rooms are clean and comfortable and have tea making facilities, tellys snd en-suite. Large comfortable bed. No noise from the street or other residents. Breakfast was filling, I had the full Irish on both mornings. I would stay again.

Myself and my husband stayed here for weekend and were greeted on arrival by a lovely lady who was very charming. We went to our room which was extremely cold but after turning on a heater it heated in no time. We arrived around 8pm and had a drink in the pub. Great character and a good warm fire. This... More

A lovely family run hotel, nicely situated in the main part of the town. Lovely staff. A good size room and a very comfortable bed with a choice of sheets and blankets or a Duvet. Very clean with a fine shower and bath. We opted for a room at the back of the hotel as we were not sure how... More

Very centrally located. The hotel has a lot of history about it. Rooms a good size and nicly furnished. Good Irish breakfast but forget about having dinner here, there are too many good restaurants nearby. Steak was typically Irish - chewy. The fish and chips, well - I guess it's hard to go wrong with those. Pub food is pub... More

Staff are friendly and helpful regarding sights and attractions around the area, free wifi worked well for when I had to do a bit of work on my laptop! Bar and restaurant in the hotel are well priced and have hearty portion... More

We had a very enjoyable one-night stay at O'Donovan's Hotel in mid-September. As it was for our entire trip we had no reservations, not knowing exactly where we would find ourselves when it became time to find lodging for the night. We feel very fortunate that we reached charming Clonakilty and happened upon O'Donovan's. Upon inquiring about availability the kind... More

O'Donovan's is in a very central location in Clonakilty. Great spot from which to mooch around the local shops and places of interest. As a light sleeper, I hadn't slept well in a Cork guesthouse the previous two nights, due to plumbing noises and doors banging, I asked the hotel for a quiet room. Was assured the room would be... We stayed for 3 nights and only moved on because nightclubs are not my thing otherwise I would have been more than happy to stay further and have no hesitation in recommending you stay here. The reception was friendly and efficient as were the staff we encountered during our stay. The hotel is full of character with old photos and... More

I love it here. I go at least 3 times a year. Staff always friendly, love a pot of tea by the fire and a cake. I can chill and use the free wifi. I always pop in without fail. Also good Pokemon place if you are in to that
