Just home from a wonderful stay in Kinsale. I couldn't fault Actons in any way. Beautiful smell greeted us as we walked in the door, staff at reception were very friendly. The room was nicely decorated even though we didn't have a view it didn't matter. Bathroom very clean and modern. Breakfast was great. A great selection !! Very fresh!!...

Nice, comfortable hotel, in a good location in central Kinsale. Very generous breakfast offering and a nice bar with an impressive array of spirits and local ales and ciders. Only gripes with this hotel was heating on full blast in the rooms all the time, which made it unbearably hot, and having to walk outside to get to the swimming...

We attended my sisters wedding in December and stayed for 2 nights, The wedding was brilliant, everything was perfect, the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us Special Thanks to Ian who looked after us, he was fantastic! Girls on reception were also brilliant! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kinsale.

Acton's hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking Kinsale Harbour and within minutes walking distance of the town, which is very historic. My husband and I spent a most restful two nights there and had a room overlooking the harbour. Rooms are bright and comfortable and have a good seating area. The food is excellent and nothing is too much...

I stayed in Actons for three nights for a wedding, the food was great, the room was lovely, the staff went above and beyond. They were accommodating and always pleasant. I left my charger behind and they posted it home to me. I will be back the first chance I get. Great price for the room too.

Although there was a big event on in the hotel, we were made to feel special and received devoted and helpful service by all the staff. We refreshed ourselves with a bowl of hot creamy vegetable soup and a toasted chicken sandwich was down with gallons of tea and red lemonade.

Spotlessly clean modern rooms although air-conditioning should be considered. Room was very hot even with the desk fan on and windows open. Staff very friendly and helpful and food was fabulous. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed for one night last year and again this year. Beautiful view of the harbour. Staff were welcoming and very attentive. Lovely room and beds. Ideal for a night/weekend away. Central to everything Kinsale town has to offer. Breakfast is free and the restaurant/bar is definitely worth a visit.
