This hotel is fabulous. Staff are very friendly and helpful yet not intrusive. Nothing negative to say, breakfast was perfect we didn't eat dinner here as we had other plans but menu looked amazing. The rooms are amazing we had a small double and it still was large enough for a four poster bed and plenty of floor space. This...

Love this place. So warm and friendly. We had an amazing room with a wonderful view. The bed was large and comfy and the peet fireplace just added to the ambiance. We partook in the evening meal and enjoyed the dessert buffett immensely. Have the staff tell you how to get to the Clifton Castle. It's a great little walk...

I stopped in the Abbeyglen Castle Hotel for a day and it was fantastic. The castle is beautiful and all the staff is kind and helpful. I was in the superior room, with a big bed, a fireplace and even a bidet (first time I see one in Ireland). When I arrived a kind employee offered to carry my bags;...

I am no stranger to Abbeyglen Castle and can honestly say this is my favourite hotel in Ireland. It is quirky, fun, has old world charm and the nicest staff I have ever come across. The food is outstandingly good and nothing is a problem if you have any special requests. It had a special ambience in the dining room...

We visited the Abbeyglen Castle Hotel on December 28th, 2016. They offered a great deal for a night's accommodation with dinner and breakfast. We booked one of their superior rooms that included a fireplace and a 4-poster bed. Highly recommend paying the little extra for this upgrade. On arrival we were greeted with a warm reception by the front desk....

Elegance and extravagance – this is the one place you can’t miss! Without the price tag of Ashford, it’s a hidden gem of Ireland. I opted for two nights B&B and dinners that included a trip to Inishbofin, and of a three week trip up the west coast of Ireland, this was my favorite part. Other hotels can be great,...

The hotel is old but it has ambiance. It is nestled in a lovely locale. Our room had a view of a little babbling brook. The champagne reception was enjoyable and generous pours. Dinner was very good. The hosts are cute charmers. It was a nice one day break in our tour.
