Stayed here for a couple of days, Friday and Saturday nights, mid July. For a three star hotel it was well above average. Ate in the restaurant, fish very good, partner had risotto, not so good, seemed to be made with dessert rice and cream! When the waitress took away the plates and asked how the meal was, told her...

Just back from a weekend in Clifden Station House Hotel. We were so happy with the hotel that we booked another 3 nights for next month. The staff are the friendliest we have met, so helpful. We ate in the bar and then enjoyed the piano music in the lobby. Pianist is excellent and again, very friendly guy. Breakfast was...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Clifden Station House Hotel en route home from Inishbofin. We were delighted with the spacious and bright bedroom which accommodated us together with our 3 children, and with the wonderful views. A stunning collection of posters for the Great Western Railway supported our pleasure in the history of the area. We also enjoyed...

A group of friends we spent a night to celebrate a special birthday. We got a great deal for three rooms. From our arrival we were made very welcome and the staff could not have been more courteous, friendly or helpful. Our package included dinner and breakfast. The menu had a good variety and the food was very tastefully presented...

Dear JPFPW65, Thank you for completing your Trip Advisor review. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. The hotel is on the main road and is just around the corner from the main streets. Our room faced the front and was quite noisy as a result. I would suggest asking for a room on the other side. The rooms are clean if a little dated. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but bearable. Excellent breakfast if a...
