I was on a bus tour around the Ring of Kerry and we stopped here for lunch. Our meal was delicious and the service quick. When we made our next stop, I realized my wallet was missing. Our tour guide called the restaurant and asked them to look for it. Several days passed, I had returned to the US and... More

I stayed here twice before, I could hear a person snoring in the next room which was annoying. The bed linen was not clean so I had to contact reception about that and it was rectified. The food there in the bar is delicious but I was never tempted to stay there again. I would eat there but not sleep... More

This is a smaller hotel. Obviously for the price we were not going to get fine dining and luxury packages. What we did get were mostly clean facilities, a few hiccups, but the staff were friendly (despite my American friends being unable to understand the Kerry accent) and the breakfast was excellent. The room was mostly clean (behind the bed... More

Hotel is in a handy location on the edge of town and part way round the Ring of Kerry. Didn't look too inspiring from the outside on arrival, but appearances can be deceiving, also, the interior seemed a touch old fashioned in some areas. However the staff here are fantastic and you get a real Irish welcome. The food was... More

I recently stayed at the Ring of Kerry Hotel with my Mum, initially for just one night, but because we loved it so much, we stayed for 3 nights. I can not say enough of praise about the Hotel and it's amazing staff. For Mum and I, we both needed a relaxing break away, free of stress and filled with... More

This Hotel has very friendly staff working for it. Perhaps this is what one might refer to as the famous Irish welcome. Now in saying that it has a number of areas that need improvement. Firstly it could be a bit cleaner, the public toilet off the bar is one such area. A major fault is that staff are not permanently... More

We're staying in Cahirciveen for 2 weeks. We've eaten here twice. The service was very friendly, laid back and efficient. The kids menu is fairly typical for Irish hotels. I wasn't too impressed myself but the kids seemed happy enough. The "baby bowl" option was a good option too. The adult food was really good. The Tagliatelle dish was excellent.... More

Stopped here for lunch on the Ring of Kerry tour. This was done by a prior deal with the tour company. The food served was pretty disgusting and very expensive €9.95 for a toasty! Wouldn't eat here again.

Don't be put off by this hotel's appearance in its photograph,. We had a warm welcome. Every member of staff was so helpful and kind. Our room was very clean, well maintained ,had a lovely view of misty mountains, had beds of good quality with crisp cotton sheets. We had dinner in the bar which was delicious, as was our... More

“We didn't stay in hotel but called few times for lunch. very impressed with the friendly, patient and efficient staff especially Jack Tricks who ensured we had a very tasty lunch. Would strongly recommend a stop off while touring Kerry. An ideal place to recharge the batteries especially if the weather is inclement. A mature couple”
