This rare find of well appointed accomodation, beautiful natural gardens and an elegant walled garden..lodge style indoor pool sits amidst the herbs & aubergines...they cleverly allot you your own hour in the pool/steam room ..blissful peace and tranquility , The pace on this private island is slowed right down and seeps into your bones. Gardens are as a rule not... More

My husband and I were treated by friends to a night in the Gypsy Retreat as a wedding anniversary celebration. The grounds of Inish Beg are stunning and the beautiful chromed caravans are nestled under a canopy of trees and surrounded by willow fencing so that you feel truly secluded. The caravans are kitted out with everything you could need.... More

Was staying in Baltimore and stopped by to see the gardens. With two young kids we had a great time. The walled gardens and the fairy forest along with searching for pirates through the woods kept the kids and us entertained. A great place to kill a few hours - highly recommend.

We were on Inish Beg for a friends wedding and I can say we had a truly wonderful time. We had the full run of the island and got to explore the varied range of spaces available including the picturesque pond, the uber cool boathouse and the marquee by the big house. But truly the best part about Inish Beg... More

We are a retired couple and recently enjoyed a wonderful relaxing few days in one of the courtyard cottages. The cottage was very well fitted out, comfortable, warm - everything we could ask for. The estate is in a good location for touring west Cork although we came back to our cottage mid afternoon each day to enjoy walks on... More

Being from west cork (Beara) it was an odd location to choose for a 3 generation family retreat. How glad we went for it, the children are all 5 and under and we all had the best time creating memories and relaxing in the peaceful waterfront location. Despite the rain there were forest walks and adventures to be had, pool... More

We booked the Garden Retreat (€50 per weeknight, €75 at weekends), one of ten units of accommodation. Everything was provided and was perfect (except the tiny double bed and the non-working lamps!) and we had the run of the 97-acre estate, including the pool and gardens (normally €5). The owners, Paul and Georgiana Keane, made us very welcome, and it... More

This is a place I will keep going back to. There is magic in the air there. Have stayed in both the Foresters and the Courtyard. Accommodation in both is lovely and very well stocked. I travelled with my family, two small children and they loved it. Looking forward to my next visit :-)
