I stayed here with my fiancè for a weekend in June. We thought we would check out the Loughrea Hotel and Spa as we are due to get married in 2017 and heard it was doing with weddings. We arrived on Friday at about 6pm to be greeted delightfully by the receptionist she booked us in for dinner at the...

What makes me happy about my stay is that we got a deal on living social which means it didn't cost much. It was our first trip away since our daughter was born so we wanted to relax and enjoy our time together. Arrival was fine we went straight to the spa which was the highlight of the hotel. The...

This has to be one of the top hotels I have stayed in with service from reception to bar of the highest standard, the welcome was very informing about all the facilities and the service with a smile and lots of chat from the bar staff was exceptional. The food served was fantastic and the beer cold. The only slight...

We stayed here for our Christmas party. I found the rooms very comfy and clean.Staff are friendly and food is great. The only problem with it is that there is no swimming pool.As we have children we normally only stay in hotels with swimming pools. There is no swimming pool in the town at all so there is a great market for...

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and I think inhabited by aliens. The food was abominable - steaks were of poor quality and poorly cooked, pastas were not tasty, lacked flavor. There was a wedding happening, which might explain the poor service. Horribly ugly rooms were so modern it was creepy. Beds were too soft to sleep. Sorry,...

On a recent visit, a young Staff member went out of his way to assist my elderly Mum with ensuring she was sorted with her breakfast. He did so in a courteous and tactful way, without in any way drawing attention to her frailty. I would definitely recommend a visit here and would highlight that it is a Hotel I...

My husband and I recently booked in for 4 nights while visiting family and felt like we were on a luxury break. Our room was upgraded when we arrived by the friendliest receptionist and things just got better from there. The hotel itself is worth a visit just for the views over the lake but the facilities there are fab....

Stayed two nights here, was very good. Food excellent and chef came around to ask for feedback on the food, lovely touch, however service was slow. Rooms modern as is the hotel, but spacious and very clean. Some confusion over pricing but got it sorted

Ok I wasnt staying here so cant comment on the rooms but friends were and they had nothing but problems, but as part of an organised trip in the area I ate here on two occasions and although the food was ok the service was extremely poor.
