Incredible good B&B, nice and clean rooms fitted with everything you need and a mouthwatering breakfast served in a lovely dining room. Mary: you won the first price!! Thanks for the great hospitality! The B&B is a few KM's way from the great cliffs. Lisdoonvarna has a few nice restaurants as well. Very well balanced Price-Performance ratio.

A very pleasant B&B in a quiet setting. Fabulous landscaping, flowers, etc. Obvious attention to the grounds and the house. Excellent Breakfast and a lovely proprietor. Close to all the Sites we wanted to see and great dinner suggestions in Lisdoonvarna.

Stayed here for our first two nights after arriving at Shannon. Great location to see the Burren and the cliffs of Moher (see Doolin cliff walk for the best way to enjoy a 3 hour walk with breathtaking views along the cliffs). Mary was very gracious and obviously loves gardening. We really enjoyed breakfast with the wonderful garden views from...

Stayed here recently, we were looked after superbly in this amazing house. The breakfast was so good and we were spoilt for choice. The room was spacious (king room), modern and clean. The rest of the house was so nice as well. The owner was extremely helpful with suggestions, which were all great too. Definitely recommend staying here if your...

Ballinsheen House is excellent. Parking on premises, nice spacious room. But what stood out was the marvelous breakfast that Mary provided - the best we had in Ireland. A huge assortment of expensive fresh fruit and home-baked breads to go along with the typical breakfast menu. The dining area is surrounded my windows and is a lovely place to dine....

Ballinsheen House is a delight! Beautiful rooms--elegantly appointed with lovely bathrooms--and gorgeously landscaped grounds. The breakfasts were heavenly: a nice choice of made-to-order entrees plus fresh fruits, muffins, and breads. Mary was a wonderful host, very gracious and welcoming. She gave us terrific recommendations for dining and things to see. We stayed for two nights while visiting the Cliffs of...

We stayed here because of short drives to Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Beautiful home, lovely gardens, very gracious hostess, Mary. Our room was spotless and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious.

We arrived early and jet-lagged, driving in from Shannon. Mary made tea, fed us delicious muffins, and gave us advice on how to spend the day. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was great, and Mary was an informed and friendly local guide. This was a great introduction to Ireland and Co. Clare.

Mary was such a gracious host, making sure our needs were met. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the made to order full breakfast was outstanding! The gardens are beautiful. Highly recommend this as a place to stay, especially while exploring the Cliffs of Moher.

We, being field botanists, have stayed many times in Lisdoonvarna during late spring, but now believe Ballinsheen (after our first visit there), to be the best in terms of comfort and value. The ethos is quiet and smart, comfortable and friendly. Our room had all that was required, including two beds, as requested. It was up two fairly steep flights...
