Where to begin...(1) The bar staff attempted to over-charge me 3 times on the same night - every staff charged a different price for the same drink [€4.30, €4.70, €5.10] and only for I coping it I'd be out of pocket - it might have been a ploy to see what they could get away with. (2) If you asked...

My friends and I stayed at the Hydro for two nights of the Matchmaking Festival, and had sooo much fun. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and always on hand. They (especially Bridget) made us feel like returning again next year (and possibly every year after!). Yes, if you are looking for an ultra modern, city style hotel with shine...

In comparative terms rate accommodation as VERY GOOD. Dinner quality; 3* food at restaurant prices, so better value can be obtained elsewhere. Staff in all areas were EXCELLENT, efficiency & effectiveness with natural charm - WELL DONE GUYS. Tap WATER @ €2 per glass - take note IRISH WATER. To be fair this 'rip-off' was not confined to The Hydro...

Quirky, I think is the best way to describe this hotel.Full of nooks and crannys but I wouldn't really say it was ultra modern, the glass panelled door in the bathroom was a first! The bar area was nice and the staff were friendly, overall a clean friendly quirky hotel

We ate here on the four nights that we stayed in Lisdoonvarna. The Service was excellent, food was good. The menu was the same every night for the month of September. It would be nice to vary the menu. Staff are so nice.

Four nights here were four nights too long on a group tour. The hotel is tired and in need of a total revamp. The bedroom was cramped - why place a single bed in addition to a double in a room which was hardly big enough for the double bed. No chairs so the only place to sit in the...

Having paid 180 euro for double room for one night and spent a lot of money at the bar with the group I was with, we were charged 2 euro for a pint of tap water. Rooms okay, breakfast very poor more like a mini breakfast. Poor value

We enjoyed the hotel and the breakfast that was included prior to our departure. The bar stays open late and everyone was kind. In September, it's very busy for the matchmaking festival and was so fun! Overall, it was expensive but enjoyable.

This hotel is hoping for September with music every weekend. The rooms are great and the staff are very friendly. It is located at the edge of Lisdoonvarna with plently of parking. The breakfast is more than filling and I'll be back for sure

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of the village. Very grand with a beautiful interior as you walk in. Staff were lovely on checking in, you were made to feel very welcome. Rooms were nice, comfortable. Only issue i had was no shower in the morning as there was no pressure coming through but didn't bother me too much, i managed!...
