The hostel is great, it's big and it has the most amazing tv room with a fire place, putting everyone together cause it was cold outside. However, i think the high point of the hostel is Richard, that is that manager/host/full staff/etc. Him alone would make go back, either for the calm months or crazy September!

We had a nice room for 5 with ensuite batroom and beautifull views into the garden. The building is a former hotel and therefore you still get all the luxuries like large dinning room with huge vindows, ensuite bathrooms and many other facilities. The dinning room can get a bit busy in the morning, but that's the fun of hostelling,...

First impressions of this place weren't great- it felt like an abandoned hotel that college students took over. Not very clean and the rooms looked run down. But the staff is what really makes this place great- friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The price was right, too. The common rooms were ok, one had a working fireplace and the other had...

This was my first stay in a hostel type accommodation. As a former hotel rooms are big and spacious with the removal or any frills that were there. Free internet access when in the kitchen or tv room. You also have free use of their kitchen so you can make your breakfast or dinner. It will not to be everyones...

The hostel is a good location exspecially if you love trekking in the very beautiful nature of the burren. The staff was very kind with me, giving me useful explanations for my trip's organization. Also the room, the kitchen and all the other spaces in the hostel are really comfortable and the atmosphere in the hostel was really friendly.

Have not used hostels much in the past but found this accommodation more than adequate. The staff could not have been more helpful and the atmosphere and welcome would put many a 3 or star hotel to shame. The room was basic but functional and comfortable with plenty of hot water. The ensuite had a bath and shower and was...

Staying at the Sleepzone was my first experience of staying in a Hostel. My travelling companion was a seasoned Hostel user. She assured me that Sleepzone was one of the best she had seen in her travels around Europe. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, the sitting room was cosy, the kitchen had ample room and utensils for...

We stayed one night at the Burren Sleepzone. The room was very nice, nicer than the Sleepzone in Connemara, with carpeting and curtains, similar small shower, bunks and a double bed. The hostel had a walk in fridge to keep food, plus a freezer to put our ice packs in, tea and coffee all day. Unfortunately, we were there on...

because it used to be one. It was the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at. You don't get the same "experience" as you do at most hostels, which I loved! It was very peaceful, the lounge with the fireplace was really wonderful. It has a great dining room and kitchen, and the room I stayed in was excellent. It was...
