Stayed in McCarthy`s at short notice, having left a local hotel in disgust. Lucky to have found McCarthy`s, and felt welcome from minute one. Deborah, Robin and their family are wonderful hosts, the building is old but full of character, and the breakfast is lovely. I am from Clonmel, and in short, I would not want to stay anywhere else...

A good quality, comfortable, and quiet B&B near the centre of the town. There is private gated parking located around the side. The owner is polite and accommodating. The full Irish breakfast is fresh and tasty.

The only available room was single with the bathroom not yet refurbished (This fact was made very clear to me before I made the booking) but it was clean, everything worked; hot water arrived in less time than my 4-star Dublin hotel and it was comfortable. A great Irish...

Robin was very helpful, the room was large and comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding. The breakfast room walls are packed with memorabilia -- almost a museum. Close to the sights and easy to get to.

I recently stayed here with my husband and children. The place is excellent. It is spotless, central and the breakfast is fantastic. There was a cot in our room as requested. The room was spacious, lovely decor and warm with comfortable beds. We were situated at the top of the house in a very quiet, peaceful room. It was ideal....

I stayed for two nights with Deborah and Robin and I must say that they are wonderful hosts. The accomodation was comfortable, spotless and warm. The breakfast was to die for and the selection was great. I highly recommend Robins french toast! Having private parking in a secure area was a bonus as we were situated so central in the...

I've stayed in 4 star hotels before and I can honestly say between food, customer service, comfort, location it is very much worth a stay. I heard of the place through friends who have stayed here and the overall experience was beyond my expectations for the price. Highly recommend
