We have just returned from our trip to Ireland and stayed two nights at Ashmore House where we enjoyed a warm welcome and an excellent Irish breakfast . It is conveniently situated to explore the lovely town of Cashel the rock etc. We recommend the Irsh Folk Show at Bru Bora at the side of The Rock of Cashel.

I stayed with Laura and Brendan for a week this June. The Georgian building had lots of charm and was very comfortable with all amenities and nice views from my front window up to the spire of St John’s Church. As a solo traveller on this occasion (who would travel with a family historian?) what I appreciated most was the...

We spend one night in Ashmore House while we visited Cashel. Here are the positives.... The room itself was huge, with a TV set and big windows. The bathroom was also very modern and clean. The location of Ashmore was also ideal, right in the middle of town and within easy walking distance to the Rock of Cashel. There is...

Stayed here for 2 nights last week. Great location- within walking distance to the town and Rock of Cashel. Our hosts- Wally and Brendan were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The full Irish breakfast was fantastic and sorely missed now we are back home! All in all a great place to stay.

I was on holiday with my mother; we turned up on the doorstep and had a pleasant and honest introduction to the Ashmore by Wally. My mother warmed to her immediately and Wally's sincerity and Irish nature made the stay very warm and pleasant. I am doing this review in July and I still feel the warmth towards the place...

I used to think that Irish hospitality was all just so much 'blarney' but Ashmore house opened this 'yank's eyes. Spent an idyllic couple of days staying with Laura & Brendan at Ashmore House. We were made to feel at home from the minute we stepped through the door, I can't recommend them highly enough. Weather was so-so, but the...

My boyfriend and I stayed here in April, and we were very well looked after for the weekend. Our room was very comfortable, and that, together with the friendly and accommodating staff, ensured our stay was a very relaxing experience. I would definately recommend it and look forward to returning.

Stayed there in May, we arrived after driving from Co. Louth, and were greeted with the warmest of welcomes, especially our two children, age 4 and 11. We visited the Rock of Cashel (a must!) and we also went to the Glen of Aherlow, beautiful place. Couldn't fault the place at all, lovely people and we'll definitely visit again soon.
