We booked two nights at the Esplanade hotel ,the staff were friendly & helpful ,location is perfect for walking along Bray promenade and also the stunning cliff walk . But we found the hotel itself rather tired ,it might have been a better option to bokk during Spring or Summer

A lovely seaside town. The hotel was very comfortable and warm. The bar was a bit empty but never mind. We had a lovely night and popped to a few other places. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you.

We payed almost 3 times as much for 2 rooms, on this occasion, as we did 2 months previously. ( law of supply and demand ! ) The hotel is clean and the rooms are ok. Awoken on both nights, by the fire alarm going off, in the middle of the night . And no explanation or apology from reception!...

I stayed two nights here recently on business. I have stayed here before and I have not had any major issue. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel, this is perhaps not the ideal place. The accommodation is fine but a little dated. Although I did not have breakfast on this visit, I have in the past and it...

We were really looking forward to our night away, the room we got could really do with a good clean, as you can see in the pictures, there were hairs in the bed, stains on the carpet, soap dispenser was black, and views one word-disappointing. I was looking forward to the sea front and we got the dart!

Vintage does not mean old. This not one where you will get the wrong room because one hallway looks the same as the other. Hotel has been around for a long time but it has maintained it's charm. People treat you like people, smooth stay with no problems. Quaint and charming in every way and great location.

Late last summer we called in here for afternoon tea and cakes and enjoyed it so much that we decided we would chance an overnight stay on our next visit to Bray. The double room with breakfast was 159 euro which was to be expected on the busy October bank holiday weekend in nearby Dublin. The hotel is situated on...

Stayed here for four night break with wife and two teenagers, have stayed before and like returning, The hotel is ideally situated on the seafront and is easily accessible to the Dart and local businesses. The reception staff we find are always friendly and accommodating despite some of the review's read here. The buffet style breakfast is very good especially...

This is an old hotel situated on sea front.it is surrounded by bars and restaurants so very convenient. Staff are very friendly.. Hotel could do with a make over but its position makes up for the decor. Bar food was good..Lot of options when you stay in this hotel for restaurants and bars close by.
