A good location between the Burren and the sea, friendly welcome and service, comfortable bedroom and public rooms, attention to detail of the decor, lovely sea view over Galway Bay. Truly superlative breakfast buffet and excellent range of real teas to make yourself whenever you wish. Did miss the convenience of a kettle in the room though. Dog friendly.

Ballyvaughan is a tiny town on the gorgeous west coast of Ireland. The scenery is spectacular, pace of life very quiet. I was here to see my child at the Burren College of Art; otherwise would probably never have heard of this corner of the world. The Drumcreehy Country House could not have been more lovely. The hosts were extremely...

Coming highly recommended, we decided on a one night trip to Ballyvaughan and Drumcreehy House and it lived up to our expectations. The owner, Bernadette could not have been more welcoming. We had a gorgeous bedroom overlooking Ballyvaughan Bay. Every want is looked after with a vast array of complimentary teas and coffee to take at any time during your...

We have stayed many times at Bernadette and Armin's since they opened 16 years ago. Always a warm welcome, pretty comfortable rooms with views of the sea at the front and mountains from the rooms at the back of the house. Breakfast is a feast and sets one up for the day. The location is excellent for exploring the Burren....

The house was immaculately clean throughout, beautifully furnished and has great views. The hosts were trusting and friendly, and the staff were great Fantastic breakfasts and warm cosy sitting room and reasonable stocked bar! Five star at 3 star prices.

Beautiful and spotless. Our room was very comfortable and so was the bed. We both had a great nights sleep. The added touch of a guest bar was lovely. Hosts were friendly and the service was great. Breakfast was a little disappointing with no full Irish option & found it strange to have to pay extra for orange juice but...

A really lovely spot, tucked away from the beaten path but not remote or isolated. We arrived and were shown to our lovely room, before being recommended to have dinner at Monks on the Pier, which was a 2 minute drive away. Lovely food, and a view of the harbour. Slept very well, though my road-trip companion said he'd have...
