Welcome to the Courtyard Hotel, Leixlip. The hotel is the latest addition to the Moriarty Group, a fully Irish owned family business, priding itself on customer care and guest comfort. After many years of careful restoration, we believe that we have developed one of the most unique hotels to emerge onto the Irish market in recent times. The hotel combines remnants of the old Guinness Brewery, which was the original birthplace of Guinness.

This is within a 40 min bus ride from Dublin, the bus goes near the bar/hotel and there's a bus straight to the airport as well. Furthermore the town itself has some beautiful locations and many interesting sites. There's a castle and a path related to the Guinness family!

Stayed for two nights covering a Saturday and a Sunday. The Check in was effortless and the room was spacious and clean. We found car parking a little difficult dependant on the time of day owing to the hotel being used for business meetings. All the staff were very courteous

My ground floor room was close to reception, spacious, comfortable and in a good state of repair (not pristine just been refurbished, but also not tired and desperately needing attention). I didn't hear any noise from other guests in the couple of nights that I stayed, which

Stayed for one night for a friends get together. The check in was very prompt & rooms were spacious & clean. Basic but just what we needed for our night away. We had drinks & lunch in the bar - food was served quick but slightly over cooked & a bit bland. Dinner was hit &

I would have answered this earlier but I didn't notice it. They do have an accessible Lobby and a lift that goes from the lobby level two the first floor which is a total of about 4 ft. it is a typical lift like you would find in a home setting. from the first floor there is an elevator servicing the rest of the floors. I am a hotelier in the United States with a Best Western Plus El La Quinta and a Four Points by Sheraton among others so believe me when I say it was a very nice hotel and obviously the owners take great pride in it. Unfortunately I think the building design is working against it being a ADA compliant. I did not see you or asked see any ADA rooms. but judging from the installation of that lift and the property features I believe they would have done the best they could with what they have.

Dear Amy B, Many thanks for your enquiry. We are a 35-40 minute drive from Kildare Village and we have a lot of guests that would stay with us on a regular basis and make a trip to Kildare Village so it is quite popular and the route is pretty straightforward. We also have 10% discount vouchers for Kildare Village which are a little added bonus for our guests. If there are any other queries that we can assist you with please do not hestiate to contact us. Dear bapsBelfast, many thanks for your query. Yes, our hotel is right in the very centre of the town of Leixlip. We are located just behind Main Street, on the banks of the River Liffey. As well as our our RiverBank Restaurant and our Arthurs Bar & newest addition, The Front Bar, there are a number of other bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel. If there is anything else that we can assist you with please do not hesitate to contact us. Kind Regards, Amanda O'Sullivan, Group Revenue Manager

from Dublin Airport it takes about a half an hour by a service called Airport Hopper. They run on the hour. you can book them online once you land in Dublin or ahead of time if you're sure your flight will be there. The cost is considerably less than taking a cab. They have a great public transportation system at a great price. The train station is less than a mile away. The cab company is located about 1,000 feet from the hotel entrance. Bus stops very close to the hotel
