The owners Amelie and her artisan baker husband could teach some B&B owners a thing or two. Hospitality is top of the agenda here, plus a bit of French charm. A great location, good food, I will be back. Thanks again, Tom

Waking up every morning from a beautiful aroma of bakery - home made pies , delushious cakes and so on ! All food is delushious ( French shef!) Servise is excellent! Thank you Amelie,...

Excellent location next to the river and bridge crossing , free parking just across the road , spotlessly clean accommodation , with great food . Owners and staff made us feel more than welcome and were very attentive . Would definitely recommend and we look forward to staying again.

There aren't enough words to express how much my wife and I enjoyed this B&B. We stayed at 4 places total on our trip to Ireland but Derg was by far the best! The innkeeper, Amelie, was so attentive to the guests needs. She even saw I was coming down with a cold and went to the drug store to...

A very friendly little cafe; the food was a good price and very good quality. Selection of cakes and meals. Didn't have the breakfast but customers did around us and they looked excellent value for money. Highly recommend for a snack or meals.

We had a last minute change of plan as my husband was unwell. We knocked on the door of Derg House and spent two days under the personal care of Amelie. Nothing was too much trouble from hot soup when requested for breakfast and making an appointment with the Dr to sending us off with a box of her husband's...

My sister and I found this gem on the internet actually while looking to tour the Shannon River. Delighted to find comfortable, clean twin room with ensuite in Amelie's updated B&B. Central in Killaloe. Walking about the town a highlight. Her coffeehouse attached a bonus of French pastries

I met a friend for breakfast at Derg House and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely scrumptious breakfast! They had a goid extensive menu for breakfast and lunch and a variety of gorgeous sweet treats, that was put out very lovingly by the host. I will most definitely return!
