Stunning location and venue, just stayed here as part of a weekend away and ended up booking my wedding reception!
Food was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful particularly the duty manager who helped us with our wedding plans.

I Stayed here in June for 2 days for a family wedding fabulous location and the grounds are beautiful.
The staff and accommodation were exceptional great friendly homely atmosphere.Hope to return for a break later in the year.

I did 8 manors and castles,drove 3500 km,at the end of each reviews you will find where I went next.rent a car at avis Dublin ,city,not airport...,do not book car on line..go there,see what kind of car you are getting,argue about the price..and the insurance price which is outrageous at the desk...the guy there is cool.......manual cars are cheaper...I used sat nav which I bought in ireland ( the whole unit ) for $100...cheaper than renting it as I drove for 30 days.study the map as you will end up in back 1 lane road if you are not careful !!!! irish people are excellent drivers, I also had a dashcam camera at all time...the cheapest one is all you need in case of problems.magnificent trip,go off season and save 50 %.good luck if you really exist !!!

Thank you for your enquiry. Our nearest Town is Kingscourt which is 4km form the hotel. Unfortunately there are no footpaths on the main road, therefore we do not recommend walking. The road is very industrious with a lot of heavy plant vehicles using.
Dun na ri forest is located 500 yards from the main entrance of the hotel and is beautiful for walks, again I recommend driving across to it.
