Hi. Not on site but Youghal is walking distance down a steep hill.

Hi Aisling, We are a 10 minute walk to the beach and also to the town centre. However as Dee has stated we are located on the top of a very steep hill so a car would be recommended

We stayed recently with our family of 4, our 5 year old girl and 3 boys, 11,14,17. No wifi was initially an issue with the teens, cries of I'm bored went up inside minutes of arrival! However there are two wifi spots for the teens to update their phones at. For us it became an advantage. The boys played cards each night, watched DVDs, and played tennis in the courts most days/evenings. The older two were too self conscious about the pool being for little ones to bother with it, but it was deep enough. They enjoyed BBQ night as long as they could slope off to the house after a while. It was quite and safe for them to do so. We visited black rock castle observatory, FOTA wildlife Safari, and Cobh and Kinsale, they enjoyed the history and the tours. The two younger children definitely enjoyed the park, walled garden and pool much more than the teens. Not sure about other activities however as a base it comes highly recommended, clean, spacious and has everything you could need for families self catering and exploring.

Hi Anna, To walk to the town centre is 5 to 10 minutes. There are Supermarkets in the town for food shopping with Super Value being about 10 minutes by foot of Tesco or Lidl would take approx 20mins
