A warm welcome from Martin and Lorraine, Townsend house is walking distance to all the town's amenities, there is parking, the house is immaculate, the room was lovely old world, a great tapas restaurant and lovely breakfast next morning , we will return!

Such a friendly welcome from Martin, beautiful antique looking furniture in the room and was so impressed with the four poster bed. Great value and in centre of town, 2 minute taxi drive from the County Arms where we had a wedding.
Two night stay in Birr, for a wedding, just before the hurricane. A great welcome, very friendly, typically Irish. Room lovely, breakfast ideal. Absolutely "hit the spot" on all fronts. No idea what it is like in a hurricane.
