Absolutely stunning. A wonderful place to feel like a princess (or prince), of today. Couldn't have been better. The castle is amazing, the stuff are all helpful and friendly, The food is wonderful and overall an amazing weekend. No doubt it could deserve more than five stars.

What I love about Dromoland Castle is it is a luxurious experience without being pretentious and snobbish. We loved every moment of our stay and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We ate in the Fig Tree restaurant which is in the golf club and the food was fantastic. Breakfast in the Earl of Thomond restaurant was excellent as... More

Dromoland Castle is amazing. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The furnishings were 5 star. The rooms were fantastic for the price. The breakfast was amazing. The activities offered were awesome. And the castle is probably prettier in real life than pictures can capture. Overall, by far the nicest place I've ever been per dollar, and maybe even without... disappointed that our breakfast order was mislaid on our first morning of three although on the other days, service was excellent or very good. Our bedroom, room no.113 was recently refurbished & beautiful although at times there was a foul smell in the corridor. The cleaning & turn-down services were excellent & the staff efficient & so polite. The grounds... More

Dromoland is a unique and luxurious place to stay for a totally relaxing and enjoyable break. We stayed for three nights recently and enjoyed every minute despite the weather being really bad. We managed to play some golf, to swim every day and enjoy the spa and wonderful surroundings. The food is amazing, we had two dinners there, both fantastic.... More

One of the most elegant, charming and wonderful places to visit. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you feel like you're in a little bit of heaven...truly a home away from home. We love it and hope to be back soon.

This place is just what you would think of when you envision a castle. Everything about the property is spectacular, you will not want to leave. The staff are attentive but not over the top, the rooms are old school. The shower water pressure was a fire hose, not what we get in Los Angeles. The horseback riding, falconry were... More

The courteous and welcoming staff and comfy accommodations are surrounded by glorious Irish countryside and golf course. If coming from Killarney make sure to allow ample time for Bunratty Castle and Durty Nellies pub. Only reason for 4 stars is that the rooms are beginning to feel a bit worn and can use some small upgrades and minor attention. They... More
