Absolutely fantastic stay at Dromoland Castle. Loved every minute of it. The meal at the Earl of Thomand restaurant was the nicest we have ever had...pure class. Cocktail bar is beautiful, room was lovely & the bed was amazing, it was huge. The staff were incredibly helpful particularly Aidan who was an utter gentlemen. Will definitely return.

A wonderful experience in a unique atmosphere! We were on a driving tour of Ireland and stayed in seven different hotels, this one was definitely at the top of the list. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We would most certainly stay here again.

Currently lots of construction is taking place on the property, so it might not look as picturesque as it should. It is a fairly good size complex with modern buildings joining older buildings, but all keeping the same style. The restaurant at the hotel is very good (Earl of Thormond Restaurant, jacket suggested), as is the hotel bar (a great...

Brief stay but very enjoyable. The beds were made up as twins, we would have preferred a double. As our stay was brief we did not ask for it to be changed, I'm sure if we had done so, there would have been no problem.

Way overpriced for what you get. Very dull ambience. Far too warm in the rooms at night, had to open all the windows. Stained walls and dirty bathroom. Menu in gallery restaurant was very limited and way over priced. Burger and french fires was €22.00

As a family of 4, we had a very relaxing and fun time in Dromoland Castle. The food is delicious, the service perfect and there were many activities that we enjoyed from golf, pool and fitness centre, biking and walking in the park.

This was a perfect last night in Ireland. We felt like the lord and lady of the manor. After checking in, we explored the castle and then had drinks by the fireplace in the Gallery followed by a snack of fresh native oysters and smoked salmon. Then we walked it off exploring the grounds and walking paths. Then we dressed...
