Of the 5 B&Bs we stayed during our trip, Coolakay House was easily the nicest. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained and the facilities were the most up to date. Yvonne, the owner, was very accommodating, even cutting short a dinner in town when...More
This B&B is nestled in the countryside of Enniskerry, with spectacular gardens and a million dollar view. Yvonne was so hospitable, anticipating our needs and ready to help out anyway she could. The room was comfortable and it was nice to have a refreshment station...More
Lovely accommodations, outstanding breakfast, breathtaking views of the countryside and Sugarloaf Mountain. But more importantly our hostess Yvonne was absolutely charming and delightful. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. And the sheep on the farm were entertaining. We highly recommend.

There is a busstop in nearby village of enniskerry, which I assume has a service in the direction of Dublin. It is about 7 mins drive from the b&b, and I know the local taxi is used to collecting or dropping off for the bus. There is a good team service out of Dublin so the bus does not have to get you all the way in. Best ask the b&b how best to get to them.
