Very nice and quiet here. Sean met us at the front door and quickly presented us with tea and ham and cheese sandwiches. Beds very comfortable, hot shower. Easy walk into the tiny village. Great breakfast with nice fruit. Perfect place to stay between Croagh Patrick and Kylemore Abbey.

Sean the host meet us at the door and offered a cup and a sandwich. The room and ensuite are small, but OK. The breakfast in the chapel was good and Sean was very attentive ensuring we had enough to eat.

We stayed in the Convent guest house for 3 nights at the end of August. We were greeted by Sean who welcomed us, after our long journey, with a very welcome cup of tea and some open sandwiches. The Convent is beautifully situated overlooking Killary Fiord and every morning we were treated to the beautiful view. The breakfasts were lovely-...

Sean greeted us at the door as we arrived after a long day's hike along The Western Way, seated us in the beautiful common room, and quickly had a pot of tea in front of us. Our room had a lovely view of the water and the bed was quite comfy. It was easy to get anywhere in the village...

I stayed at the convent Guest house for two nights and I was absolutely amazed by the warm welcome and hospitality from the hotel owner, he done everything to make sure my stay at the hotel was good, and so it was!! the convent is an old convent, the rooms are small but well furnished and all have a private bathroom and a nice view on the fjord (when the weather is fine)...the place is clean and well furnished. The breakfast is very good..but the best asset is the breakfast room which used to be the place of worship for the monks......

The Convent is just as beautiful as the surroundings in Killary Fjord. Breakfast in the former chapel is a beautiful experience. The rooms are very comfortable and many have a great view of the Fjord. The hospitality is also excellent. Tea on arrival; although we opt'ed for wine glasses for our bottle of wine for a 2nd visit. The sitting...

Stayed here one night in May. Views from the B&B across the bay are beautiful. Room was a little jaded, but made up for by the welcome from the owner and having a sitting room to sit in, whilst pouring over maps etc was an additional pleasure. Definitely recommend the restaurant (also owned by the B&B) which was wonderful, called...

We stayed only one night and were warmly welcomed with the offer of a cup of tea and a sandwich. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable with an exceptional view over the Killary fjord. The Irish breakfast was superb within an old chapel including its stained glass windows. We were able to eat in the village which was only 5...

I really enjoyed my stay here at the weekend. Family run and very welcoming. It is an older building with quirky decor, especially the dining area. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were lovely and clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the Killary Fjord. It was very reasonably priced at €65.00 for two people for one night during a bank...
