How good can SL accommodation get? Each place we go to seems to rack it up another notch. Perhaps one theory is the bumpier the road the better the reward at the end?? Yep, the road to this lodging was one of the bumpiest! We arrived after a safari in udawalawe NP so we parked ourselves in the Infiniti pool... More

A beautiful hotel in a wonderfully secluded location. There was only one other couple staying during our September stay. It felt as though we had the place to ourselves and we're staying in the private residence of a close friend, rather than a five star hotel. The waterfall is a must visit. The manager upgraded our room to a suite... More

Wished we stayed longer. Two nights after a long journey not enough. This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Paradise for me as the story, the location, the staff, the food and the facilities are perfect if you want to step away from the real world. Enjoy!

A oasis of guietness, hospitality and relaxtime. Do not make a reservation fot he bedroom, book book one of the suites. They are unbelievable and are worth every penny. Book more then one night, otherwise you will regret it.

A great stop before grabbing the train at Hatumale (to Kandy in our case). The property is built to inspire peace and, despite the proximity to Udalawale reserve and the tea factory with Millenium Peak (beautiful views), you just want to stay in. The pool is great, the trails surrounding the property are as well and the staff always helpful.

What an amazing jungle hideaway. We arrived late at night and the staff had stayed up for us with a full dinner ready at 1am! After the long journey to Sri Lanka and a long drive from Colombo airport, we couldn't have wished for a better place to relax and unwind. We were booked for one night and decided to... More

After driving for 6 hours from Colombo, we came to a bumpy, uneven track. However, at the end of this rough road, we went through some gates and arrived at this amazing place! Living Heritage Koslanda is set in the most idyllic location, with spectacular views (especially from the pool) and its own waterfall. We honestly couldn't fault it! The... More

This place is almost beyond description. When we arrived we were greeted by Rochan, the manager, a charming gentleman who filled us in on the background and history of the place. We were there with our two young children and I cannot describe how much they loved the place. We only spent two nights here, but we were blown away... More
