We had a voucher from last year's Chrismtas present but just didn't seem to have the time to use it until now, so we booked it as a halfway stop on our way back from Hereford after a family visit. The Crown was very comfortable with cosy roaring log fires and we could eat in the restaurant (lovely food) and... More

Using a voucher (gifted by our daughter) we chose The Crown for its quiet location and the benefit of a restaurant and bar. A one stop shop for our one night away. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable. Dinner was very tasty, breakfast was delicious. Claire is a great chef, Lynn is a charming housekeeper with a great sense... More

We stayed here en route to North Wales using a voucher we had been given. We had an evening meal and breakfast at the Crown - both were excellent. The restaurant staff and the lady serving breakfast in the morning were both helpful and quick to laugh. It made you feel immediately at ease. The room was clean, bright and... More

We were bought this night away as a present (voucher). We chose this place because we saw it did food and there was a bar on site. This did not disappoint. The food was exceptional, the service was faultless and friendly. We enjoyed the real ale too! In a very peaceful location. Was very cosy on a cold November night... More

What a little gem of a place. Hubby and I booked in for a much needed break following a stressful couple of weeks. Tucked in the beautiful countryside we were warmly welcomed and felt at home. We had a large room with usual tea facilities supplemented with choccies and bottled water. Clean shower and big fluffy white towels of a... More

We were in the area visiting family and popped into the Crown Inn without a booking. The dining room was fully booked but that wasn't an issue as there was scope to eat elsewhere on the property and as we hadn't planned ahead and wasn't bothered about where we ate, we had our roast in the bar. Dining room looked... More

We had a voucher and, to be honest, this wasn't our first choice. However, Trip Advisor contributors had given first choice dreadful reviews so we had a change of plan and came to The Crown. It is a wonderful local pub with great food, friendly staff and lovely comfortable rooms. We only had a one night stay but loved it.... More

Lovely Inn in a beautiful area & only 1 mile from Offas Dyke. Booked in at 4pm as asked & were given room 3. The room was sympathetic to the age of the building , it had a huge bed & a large window with the countryside view, it had tea/coffee tray with superb biscuits. The en-suite was small but... More
