Have just returned from a 2night break and couldn't be more pleased. The service, exceptional. The food OUTSTANDING. This is 5 star food by any ratings. The rooms basic but very very clean and most comfortable. The only drawback is the location!!!!! Satnavs have great difficulty with finding this inn. Suggest printing off directions on route finder first. Got in the...

We found the whole overall experience at the Crown Inn to be very good and it was lovely to escape the corporate feel of a 'chain' owned hotel. The room was good having an en suite facilities, a TV, WiFi and tea and coffee facilities. The whole atmosphere in the Crown was one off making sure the guest was comfortable....

We had an amazing short break at this country inn. We arrived in showy weather but received a very warm welcome by Dave. There was a roaring fire and lovely local ales to choose from. We were shown to room 2 which was so comfortable and full of character. We booked in for dinner which was truly delicious. The breakfasts...

This is such a great place to stay a night or two. The pub is two halves with the bar on one side and the guest house on the other. The bar is fully stocked and serves local real ale. The guest hose side has a soft sofa area, with a wood burner. A dining area and a seperate room...

We had a voucher from last year's Chrismtas present but just didn't seem to have the time to use it until now, so we booked it as a halfway stop on our way back from Hereford after a family visit. The Crown was very comfortable with cosy roaring log fires and we could eat in the restaurant (lovely food) and...

Using a voucher (gifted by our daughter) we chose The Crown for its quiet location and the benefit of a restaurant and bar. A one stop shop for our one night away. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable. Dinner was very tasty, breakfast was delicious. Claire is a great chef, Lynn is a charming housekeeper with a great sense...

We stayed here en route to North Wales using a voucher we had been given. We had an evening meal and breakfast at the Crown - both were excellent. The restaurant staff and the lady serving breakfast in the morning were both helpful and quick to laugh. It made you feel immediately at ease. The room was clean, bright and...
