We stayed at The Quarry House overnight. Lovely clean, comfortable and thoughtful accommodation (for example the addition of a torch as a standard piece of kit in the rooms as no street lighting). Beautiful views. Michelle was very welcoming and helpful before and during our stay - texting to tell us of a road closure on the morning of our...

We were walking Offa's Dyke, some epic big hills and wonderful views, but after 18 miles were ready to put our feet up and be looked after. Michelle and her husband were brilliant hosts. We stayed in the annex building, which was clean and very spacious. But the highlight of the stay was Michelle's cooking! Dinner and breakfast were both...

Came up for two nights while visiting a sick friend nearby. Wonderful welcome from the hosts; very, very comfortable accommodation and an outstandingly good breakfast in the morning with a wide choice of cooked breakfast, fresh fruits, "proper" coffee (cafetière), the works! Nothing seemed too much trouble for the hosts. I'll be back. Outstanding value for money.

A lovely, peaceful place to stay. We stayed in the courtyard at Easter and was really cosy. Tea, coffee, fresh milk provided daily, fruit bowl replenished every day with the additional touch of miniature Easter eggs, Mmmmmm. The breakfast are the best we have ever had at a bed and breakfast. The choice of fresh smoked salmon and scrambled eggs,...

Excellent modern furniture and fittings in lovely room with great shower. Warm welcome from the helpful hosts. A hidden gem a genuine 50 yes from Offa's Dyke and on the edge of the pleasant village of Newcastle on Clun (which has a pub that does meals). I am already planning my next visit

I arrived early evening and the hosts were incredible, lovely and welcoming. Room was incredible, couldn't fault my stay! Breakfast was amazing in the morning and it was an absolute pleasure staying there. £40 was a bargain, best b&b in Britain!

Michelle and Simon gave us a most friendly welcome. The room we stayed in for four nights (the annexe) was very comfortable and spacious. We appreciated the quiet and secluded location of the B&B. Being woken in the morning by birds singing was lovely. The big surprise was Michelle's delicious breakfast. What a treat! The well-kept and very clean Quarry...

I had a lovely stay at the Quarry House. I was made to feel very welcome and met all the family. I was given a lift to the local pub for dinner and had a delicious breakfast in the morning which set me up for a days walking! Michelle and her husband were very kind to me and encouraging of...

I visited Quarry House in late October as a stop off along Offasdyke. It is a perfect location, and only 50 yards from the trail as it crosses Church Road. Michelle and Simon the owners were really welcoming and ensure that travellers have a good rest. The accomodation is a separate building close to the house and inside this is...

The location of this B&B is beautiful and you receive a very warm and friendly welcome from Simon and Michelle (with a pot of tea!). The breakfast is to die for and I can highly recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The room I have stayed in a number of times is very comfortable. A great place and looking...
