Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked this venue for a hen weekend and it out done our expectations! From the very helpful owners ,to everything you need for a camping trip on hand…The yurts themselves are comfortable and warm with their own log burns .We make use of the pizza over and the hot tub, which Phil came daily to ensure that it was kept warm! Can’t fault this place at all … would definitely recommend!!

We had a yurt per couple. From the moment we arrived all was perfect, set in a beautiful area with lovely views. Exactly what we wanted, to get away & unwind, with peace & tranquility to enjoy. Kitchen fully fitted with cooker microwave oven & rayburn - you would never starve. Showers & toilet block were really clean & everything had been given an "extra personal touch" by the owners to make it special, fresh flowers as a minimum. We had fun evening camp where we could all sit around the fire and chat. enjoy one another company. The Pizza Oven was great, and that too also had a seating area, and well designed. The Hot Tub was an extra bonus, we loved it! Most definitely recommend, and we will be back too - either with our friends or maybe family in the future. Try it!

Family weekend away at this lovely secluded site. Phil welcomed us on arrival amd showed us around showing us the communal areas - outside pizza oven, fire pit, huge kitchen kitted out with all you will need inc 1 fridge per yurt, microwave, kettles, toaster, gas hob, oven even washing up liquid and T bags and condiments) hot tub and electric showers/eco toilets. The 4 yurts are spacious and quaintly decorated. Placed on a massive decked area with our own seating area and bbq. Wood is provided so no need to bring charcoal just bring your firelighters. Fyi sooooo much easier and nicer to cook bbq with wood -thanks Phil! A lovely place to relax and unwind. We booked our own activities ( Gorge Scrambling and white water rafting) for saturday and sunday in Cardiff and the Brecon Beacons which were just a 30 ish min drive away. After a physical day it was so lovely to come back and fire up the bbq, fill our bellies and jump in the hot tub. Phil is a great host who comes each morning to check everthing is ok and was really friendly and helpful. You really cannot go wrong booking this tranquil secluded short stay. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time away in Wales at Cwm Yurts. We loved the hot tub, sitting by the fire pit in the evening and using the pizza oven. There’s lots of stuff to see and do around the area. We will definitely be back next Summer, thanks Phil!

Stayed twice in the last couple of years as a group of 4 - ample room in the yurt and if you keep the fire going it's baking, even in November! Proper glamping complete with a double bed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Phil is lovely and can give you all the info on the area. Toilets and showers spotless, kitchen well equipped, new pizza oven area perfect. Happy travelling!

We decided to visit cwm tawel yurts for our honeymoon and wow all we can say is FANTASTIC!! On arrival we was greeted by a lovely man who showed us around and had lit all fire burners. It has a lovely fully equipped kitchen , shower room , toilet & not to mention the beautiful yurt that we stayed in . Our stay is not over yet but I couldn’t wait to share a few pictures and a review. We will 100% be returning with our children in the summer . Now off for a dip in the heated hot tub to watch this evenings full moon . All details are perfect from lighting around the decking to little vintage flags around the log areas , perfect for a relaxing break . Thank you so much you guys are doing a great job at making this place wonderful

We stayed with Phillip and Sandra for 3 nights and had an absolutely amazing time!! On arrival Phillip was there to greet us (very friendly and welcoming man) and show us around the site and facilities available. It was like a home from home- they had everything you could possibly need, plus more, the kitchen was better equipped than ours at home! You literally do not need to bring anything with you other than food, sleeping bag and clothes. Huge fully equipped kitchen with an AGA cooker on site and communal camp fire where u can also cook food with all pots and pans provided. The yurts were genuine Mongolian yurts that had a log burner inside that kept the heat all night. Each yurt has its own terrace with barbecue and seating area. Our 18 month old thoroughly enjoyed himself and was able to roam the site freely as not near roads/traffic Highly recommend and will definitely be returning

We stayed Friday to Monday with a nearly two year old in tow. There was a group of 5 men on a annual activity weekend and it was brilliant. Got together round the fire, shared food and drink and had fun. Little one was in his element as he loves being outside, hardly any traffic passing by on the road. Facilities are fantastic, lovely sun trapping kitchen and great pizza oven outside with a seating area. Phil is a lovely guy. Shopping is not too far as well. We hope to go back soon
