We have just had a beautiful steak meal with a couple of pints. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful inside. Prices on food very good. Locals very friendly to talk too . Will return over the weekend to try something else.

Microwaved local sausages and reconstituted mash in red liquid gravy - revolting. The staff were reasonably friendly and the dog was given a biscuit treat. The exterior is rather picturesque but contains a very ordinary interior.

We stayed at The Eliot Arms over Bank Holiday weekend with our daughter. Sue and her team made us feel so welcome - as the saying goes, we arrived as strangers and left as friends. The rooms are simple, clean & comfortable and food is great; proper home-cooked dishes, served with a smile. We really hope to return one day!

Hi , would like to say what a wonderful warm, inviting welcome we received when we stopped by for a drink, we also wanted to ask about family history, the landlady and her daughter went to great lengths to help us , even phoning people to see if they could help. You made us feel so welcome a true gem...
