We booked the Hollow Pod looking for a hobbit experience and we weren't disappointed at all, this is as close as you can get to a fully functional hobbit hole. Some things could be improved, but all in all we look forward to staying in it again soon.

This was a great find. Really lovely location to help escape busy city/town life. We try to glamp somewhere relatively local to us every year and we would definitely recommend these pods. Hope to come back soon to stay in the hobbit house!

WOW !! What a amazing wonderful magical place ,,we stayed in pod hollow for the weekend , my husband is a big lord of the rings fan ,this was a surprise for him for his birthday . He was totally speechless and amazed by it all . I have stayed in various holiday places in the past but this is on another level and by far the best. It was a chilly weekend outside ,but that didnt matter ,as we were warm & cozy in pod hollow .we had fun with the costumes & played lord of the rings games and watched dvds which we had lots to choose from . This delightful place is like stepping into another world and attention to detail throughout. It had everything you could possibly need for a stay away from home , Lovely walks and right next to Anglo -saxon village. There is so much infomation in the visitors guide book and lots of places to visit within the area . If anyone is reading this and deciding whether go or not ,then i can 100% guarantee you will love this without a doubt , and will be talking about it weeks after . Thankyou for my amazing stay, it's simply the best !!

Pod Hollow was an absolutely incredible discovery! We spent two unforgettable nights here and wished we could have stayed for two years instead. Watching Lord of the Rings in a hobbit hole was an absolute dream come true! I seriously couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience. The owners have created something truly wonderful and we are grateful for such a delightful stay. Pod Hollow had all the facilities to make an extremely comfortable stay and was a superb home away from home. An excellent shower as well! Just what was needed after exploring the vibrant outdoors! The surrounding countryside is beautiful and offers wonderful walks right outside your doorstep. West Stow is a charming little village located just outside of Bury St Edmunds and it would be an excellent base if you wanted to explore the lovely market town. However, we didn't want to leave Pod Hollow and spent three magical days lost in serene tranquillity. We will most certainly be coming back!

Lovely, cosy space to stay in with comfy sofas and bed. No reliable tv signal, internet connection or phone signal so take books and games. Couldn’t get milk AND Prosecco in the little fridge but it was cold enough outside to chill the wine. We were lucky with weather so had a cheeky BBQ which was fun.

Thanks for your comments. We do regret you didn't contact us while you were on site about the issues with the TV and the leak on the tap. The TV booster unit was not turned on and that does appear to have fixed the TV. Had you notified us at the time we would have relocated you to another Mega Pod. Thanks and hopefully we'll see you again.

Me and my family spent nice time in the hobbit house. The house looks very unique and we got immersed into a fantasy straight away. There are hobbit and not only related toys, movies, costumes and board games. My kids did love the fairy tale house and the forest and spent hours playing and pretending. Even we (grown ups) were charmed and whisked away into fantasy. Thank you for the fairy tale experience!

Had fantastic relaxing Christmas in Cedar Lodge with our dog, great accommodation in a great setting in the woods. It was fantastic to be woken up at 4am to the hoot of a Tawny Owl in the tree outside our log cabin. It was great to be on the door strap to Lackford lakes, Kings Forrest and Thetford Forest. We will certainly be staying again

My wife and myself spent 3 days, 24th, 25th and 26th of December at the pod hollow, absolutely brilliant. As soon as you open the door it is like stepping in to the set of LOTR. The setting is peaceful and quite, back to nature. The detail of the hollow is spot on with everything you can imagine, especially the costumes which we used was brilliant. We even met the owner, can't think of his name, was such a charming person, reminded me of samwise gamgee.

What a wonderful weekend we had. The hobbit house was amazing. Well equipped kitchen for all of our cooking needs, cosy bedrooms and sitting area with all we could want. Made even better being able to bring our 4 legged companions with us. The vast selection of walks from West Stow Pods meant we were spoilt for choice! We loved exploring the area and coming back to our Hobbit House to relax at the end of the day, Bury St Edmonds is worth a visit, lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Can't wait to return!
