We stayed for a week in this beautiful family hotel. We have booked green room and it is beautiful decorated with all facilities needed for family stay. The staf is really great taking into account all covid measures, helpful and ready to provide any support needed. Location is near to the village centre with enough parking space. Breakfast is very delicious, local food and all self made...great experience. Many thanks to Yorgos and his staf, we will come again.
We visited the place in August 2020. The room was very clean and every member of the personnel was wearing a mask. We felt really safe and we were warmly welcomed. The room was exceptionally decorated, preserving the traditional character of the area. The breakfast was magnificent and prepared literally in front of our eyes, i.e. when we sat and not earlier. We totally recommend the place.
We stayed for two days. The hotel is peaceful and in a great location, just a few meters away from a central square in Zagora. Very beautiful and cosy, very clean and the room was also very comfortable. The terrace was a joy to sit and relax. The breakfast was beyond any critique, both in flavours and in quantity! I highly recommend this hotel and in case I return to Pilion, I will definitely stay here again!
The shadowed garden is very nice and calm to sit in, when its hot outside. The property is beautiful designed and authentic ambient. The breakfast was very tasty, specially the homemade jams. Highly recommended.the hosts were very kind and helpful
If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars, I would. The place was beautiful, merging traditional decor with a modern bathroom. While sometimes traditional means ratty, everything was in great shape and the entire place was very clean. Breakfast (7.5 euro each) was great, each day being something different, But the best part were the people, Georgios the owner and the sweet young woman who worked there (sorry, forgot your name), who were very helpful and did everything they could to make our stay at the hotel and in the area as good as possible, giving lots of suggestions and information. We ha a hard time leaving, and know we will be back as soon as possible!
Arxontiko Stamou is an amazing place for staying at Pellion. It's in Zagora, an ideal place to stay in order to see as much of Pelion as possible. George, the host, was really helpful providing guidance and valuable tips for our daily excursions. The rooms are really comfortable, clean, warm, with all amenities and beautifully decorated. We stayed for 3 days and every single morning a different styled gorgious breakfast was waiting for us by the fireplace. In the night and after a days end, George kindly served us a drink on the amazing bar located within the premises. Thumbs up and highly recommended!!
If you love to stay in an old, very charming small mansion, with many authentic details you are at the right address. Some details aren't perfect, but that makes part of the charm of such an ancient house. We stayed in the “light blue room” nr. 4, which is quieter than room nr.5, in front of the house. Hosts are extremely friendly, nothing we asked was too much. Breakfast is amazing: every morning they served us different specialities.
The hotel is located in a beautiful old house, carefully renovated, each room has a different character. Breakfast is lovely, adapted to special requests. Georgeos and his lovely family are great hosts - friendly, easy going, very attentive and generous. Guided us openly what to see, where to go and eat. Through them we discovered a few places that otherwise we would have never got there. The Hotel location in Zagora is very convenient - walking distance to the main square, with lots of restaurants and cafes around. Highly recommended, we will come again, thank you :) !
Gorgeous does his best so that every guest will get the best vacation to match his desires. His recommendations led us to great tavernas, beautiful hiking trails and a wonderful beach. Our superior room was charming and comfortable, and the breakfast was generous and tasty. We had a special nutrition need and the staff did their best to meet our needs. A friendly, welcoming atmosphere that makes us want to come back again soon.
My wife and me we spent 5 days in the wonderful guesthouse of Yorgos. Very nice and typical house, excellent room and a very delicous breakfast served in more than a friendly way in the wonderful garden. Yorgos gave us daily personal advices what we could do and where we could enjoy the fantastic pelion gastronomy. We felt like personal guest and not like clients - wonderful. Zagora is very well situated to discover Pelion in all its aspects - mountain hiking and swimming on wonderful beaches. There is no better choice in Greece than Archontikou Stamou in Pelion - we will come again and again.
