Stayed here for the Doolin Folk Festival in 2019 June 14-17. This property has an amazing view towards the Aran Islands, above the town of Doolin. The hosts are very welcoming and the breakfast amazing. The room is clean, quiet and comfortable. I felt very welcome. The location is above the town of Doolin, probably a 15 minute walk down hill to Doolin (but very steep uphill back). Taxi ride was 5 minutes max. During the Folk Fest, it was hard to get a taxi, so get a card from one so you can call them to arrange for transportation back. Hosts gave me contact numbers for 2 taxis, so it worked out well. Highly recommend this B&B.
We booked our stay with Harbour view through Airbnb months in advance. Upon arrival, Joseph greeted us, gave us a tour of our room, and was able to answer questions for us, including recommendations on places in town for food, and music. We took his suggestion and spent our rainy evening at McDermott's, which ended up being our favorite night in all of Ireland. The room was large, clean, and comfortable, with a matching spacious bathroom. With it being our last night in Ireland, it was very handy to have the extra room, allowing us the ability to spread our new items out and then repack all of our things. We're already planning on visiting Doolin again, and will certainly book our stay at Harbour View.
It was our first night in Ireland, after a long drive from the Dublin airport it was a very welcoming sight. The owners are a lovely young family and their B&B is clean, comfortable and our room was spacious. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and cooked to order. The owners and staff are all very friendly and helped us with dinner decisions. Their B&B sits up above the town of Doolin. It's a few minute's drive to reach several pubs and restaurants. It's right on the road to the Cliffs of Moher. The view in the morning of cows across the road and the sea in the distance was a lovely sight.
This B&B exceeded our expectations. Rooms were spacious, clean and well-appointed. Breakfast was amazing and the staff very accommodating. It is a short drive or a nice 15 minute walk to the pubs and stores up from the harbour. The location is convenient as a hub for exploring the area.
Wonderful stay. Great location, clean, beautiful setting. Close to Cliffs of Moher, Aran Island Ferries, and the Burren. Also a short one hour drive to Galway. Amy, Joseph, and Polly were great host. Stayed four nights. Would have stayed longer, if time had permitted.
