Forget the dangerous holes, litter and subsidence around the slides area, forget the wooden spoons and dirty glasses, forget the queues to drink poor quality cocktails dispensed out of cardboard boxes and focus more on this…. This hotel despite the signage, uniforms and advertising online from many providers is NOT A RADISSON. I have written confirmation from Radisson as of october 1st 2023 this hotel is independent honouring previous bookings. It’s a con that cost me thousands of pounds and frankly I feel lied to and missold.

The trip was from 31 October 2023 until 7 November 2023. Our trip which was intended to celebrate my partner's 50th birthday which had been spoilt by hotel services and staff. I raised these issues directly with the hotel manager, Mr Antonis Paspalis on 2 November 2023 who took no action whatsoever. I make the following observations: 1) We were upgraded to a junior suite (from a superior room) due to empty rooms which was very nice of them to do, however the bath was dirty and so small that even I did not wish to take a bath. My partner who is very tall and large could not either as he would have wished to. On the website they show a picture of a free standing bath and I (wrongly) believed that it would have these in most rooms. 2) We were given a 'secret code' to use on an app that we had to get in order to book meals at the 2 restaurants if we wanted Greek or Italian meals. According to reviews this app was not good and difficult to use. We opted for booking at the reception desk but reception quite rudely kept saying that we must book through the app. When I insisted that I wasn't going to book through the app, the reception lady reluctantly let me speak with the Greek restaurant to book dinner for one night (did not book more as we were unsure about our plans). 3) I was not given a map of the resort - only a programme that was until 4.11.23. We were informed that we cannot book any excursions as it was out of season and the only way for us to do things on our own was to book taxi ride to various towns (at an extortionate price). They were no entertainment in the resort either. The only thing left open was to use the hotel facilities and bars which some closed part way through. 4) Throughout our stay we could smell strong sewage smell in various places within the resort which was very off putting. 5) The main dining area (Mosaic) was dirty in some places and they had food exposed ie salad, fruits, deserts and we could see flies landing on the food which then put us off eating them. The glasses were almost always dirty and that put us off drinking. The hot food itself was very average and some quite tasteless. We could not even eat a cooked breakfast as it was awful. We can see that some food were cooked a long time ago and just sitting there. We increasingly stuck to fresh cooked food and covered food as much as we could. Luckily they had a variety of food so we did not go hungry. 6) Most of the staff had been consistently unfriendly and some even rude. The exception was one female staff at reception desk, Marina and a couple of waiting staff and the cleaner. The other female reception staff (Xanthi?) was very rude when I raised some concerns who had a different badge name the next day! 7)The manager, Mr Antonis Paspalis was the biggest let down as not only did I have to make an appointment to speak with him but he was dismissive of my concerns and complaints from the beginning finding excuses, being defensive and condescending. He explained that he could make more meal bookings for me but also stated that as from 3 November (next day) there was no need to book! His arrogance led him to ask me what I did for a living and that I had an answer for everything. He asked what he should do and as I had reeled off various issues, I expected him to suggest some improvements or do something nice as I had explained why we were on this trip (to celebrate my partner's 50th birthday). When I stated that it was not a 5 star hotel he disagreed and I referred him to the various negative reviews of the hotel. He could only ask whether I had seen the reviews before booking and I answered that I only had time to see them after booking. He added that there are many positive reviews and ratings. 8) There were very limited signs to various places and the map did not help. This is a very big resort and signs would have definitely helped. 9) There was a boxing machine which my partner used only once and wanted to use again. By the third day, the machine was not working, pulled out and the socket was very loose (could have been dangerous - photo attached). 10) There were 3 pool tables, all in a very bad state with the velvet cover in poor state and no chalk for the cues. We played it twice only given the poor state and the expense (see photo). 11) Mosquitos around the pool area - my partner was badly bitten. 12) By the 4th day everything was shutting down slowly, the main restaurant for lunch and dinner, some bars, the Italian restaurant, the main bar with food leaving us with only the Greek restaurant open to eat the same dishes from the very limited menu for the last 3 days! This arrangement was made worse by the fact that we had not been informed of this until I went to the reception where I was presented with a programme of limited restaurants and bars from 5 November. All the reception staff could say is "Did you not get this?" 13) I eat halal food and as there no signs of what the food was in the main restaurant I could not eat most of the dishes. 14) We managed to eat in the Italian restaurant once and we were informed by the waitress that half the items on the menu were not available and all of the pizzas! 15) Alcohol was plenty but not made well as some were watered down or very little alcohol! 16) We could not watch tv as 90% of the channels were news stations in different languages or unavailable. The good points were free flowing alcoholic drinks, and choices of different pools and bars for the first half of the trip. Despite my complaint to the manager, needless to say he took no action and my partner's birthday went unnoticed. I appreciate this is a big hotel, however there were very few guests. Even a note or a comment wishing my partner birthday greetings would have been a nice gesture as it was special birthday. The staff were in fact working like robots, no smiles on their faces and some quite exhausted from working. I really do not understand why this resort stays open a week longer than other hotels when everything else on the island has shut down. I know that this trip was good value for money but had I known of the limited facilities, poor food, run down in some places, broken things, and the fact that I was in effect paying for a 4 star hotel rather than a 5 star then I would have not opted for this hotel. My partner had diarrohea due to the food and as the resort was dirty in places we were bitten by mosquitos. I would agree that the resort is beautiful with the facilities on offer generally but the hotel room, food and the service is not of 5 star quality.

Dear Rialto2020, Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. We firmly believe that complaints and reviews should reflect genuine experiences rather than serve as a means to obtain complimentary luxury services. During our conversation, you highlighted two technical issues in your upgraded room, promptly addressed by our team, and in acknowledgment of the inconvenience, we offered an extra meal at our à la carte restaurants. Nevertheless, you expressed a strong desire to experience lobster for the first time in your life at our resort, paired with wine from our Two-star Michelin restaurant, especially for your husband's 50th birthday. We kindly explained to you that a premium meal comes with an extra cost. Upon learning that there was an additional charge, you began to make threats about posting negative reviews and demanded the names of our employees to publicize online. Such behavior is completly unacceptable and it is not alligned with modern civilazation. In conclusion, we encourage you to embrace the concept of paying for any additional luxurious amenities you wish to enjoy in the future. Rather than bringing a notebook on your holiday solely to document flaws for the purpose of orchestrating a meeting with a manager and presenting them as formal complaints. Please consider the value of the experiences provided and the reasonable costs associated with premium services. Remember, genuine appreciation often comes with a price tag, and investing in these moments can elevate your overall satisfaction.

My wife and I spent 10 day's at this hotel ( 4-10 October). We arrived very late in the evening due to the delay on the transfer coach, which I might add was nothing to do with the Hotel but the holiday company, Thomas Cook. On arrival we were met at reception by very friendly staff who informed us that due to the late hour (23.15) all the restaurants were closed and that All Inclusive at the Bars finished at 23.00. We were given our room Keys and a very polite man drove us to our room in a Golf buggy as the Hotel is built on the side of a cliff! When we booked this hotel there was no information that it might not be suitable for the less mobile which I am unfortunately. .The Room was very nice, clean and very well equipped. We settled in had a glass of wine and went off to bed. The next morning we found it a little bit of a struggle to get to the Buffet Restaurant owing to the amount of stairs and slopes we had to use to get there. The Buffet Restaurant was very clean, well laid out with mountains of good quality food. Unfortunately the food was not very hot. Thank god for the micro wave by the toast and bread counter. The Staff especially Spiros were excellent and could not do enough to help. we did not bother with the al-a-carte as we did not want to spend ages queuing and we were informed by other guests that we talked to that it was not worth bothering with. We did enjoy our stay but found that there was not enough Bar staff, anywhere, just one on duty most of the time, is the hotel trying this way to cut down on the amount of alcohol they have to serve? The Sun loungers were very good and comfortable with plenty of them. With regard to the so called entertainment it was mediocre to say the least. Most of the guest staying at this time were mostly from the age of 40-80 apart from a few youngsters and hard rock music did not seem suitable or matched to the audience There was nowhere one could sit and relax in a quiet lounge/bar with soft comfortable chairs, every bar was noisy! The Rooms were well serviced, but the so called mini bar which is advertised on the Hotel list of facilities. was a bit sparse to say the least 2 cartons of juice 2 cans of cola, 1 beer a bottle of water and a bottle of red wine. None of these items was restocked which one would expect in a 5 star hotel which advertises a Mini bar!!! In conclusion I would say that although the hotel was very spacious, and had very pleasant surroundings, and the staff were all very friendly I would rate this Hotel as a reasonably good 4 star and nowhere near a 5 star. My wife and I will not be re-booking a stay as the hotel is too far away from any where and not on a bus route.

We find it difficult to comprehend the negative comments of other guests staying in October. We were allocated a room on the resort perimeter which was not suitable as my wife was coping with the after effects of a stroke. Overnight we were rehoused in a beautiful room overlooking the sea with a large balcony and close to all amenities. Reception staff were brilliant in organising this transfer. We had no problem booking a la carte, probably because we just took what was available without pre conditions. The young girl at the bookings was golden. So we booked 8 times at different venues with no problem, those with problems seemed to be insisting on specific days and times. The downside of the a la carte was they were only average and we found the buffet preferable. Also it was only at the a la carte we came across a jobsworth manager rude to his young staff and up his own backside. As for the rest of the staff we came into contact with they were all just so friendly and helpful especially when they knew my wife was suffering from the after effects of her stroke. Plenty of luxurious sunbeds, courteous and friendly guests, what was not to like and we have a history of world wide expensive holidays over 40 years. We have recommended this hotel to many of our friends since our return and that is not something we normally do. To sum up I despair at some people's expectations for the price they have paid. Book, go and you will not be disappointed

I’ll start with the rooms, they where somewhat well kept on the inside but I never used the Terrace due to the awful sewage smell. On our booking we had reserved a room for 5 people as we where travelling as a family of four and my sons friend upon arrival the staff at reception where rude and didn’t understand that two 15 year old boys should not be separated from their family and be placed in a room far away from there guardians we where staying here for seven days and where told for the first three days of our trip that we would be placed in the room that we had booked (this never happened). The food from the buffet was repetitive, undercooked and would always be scraps no matter what time you ate. The pools where cold and the staff where extremely rude my son was shouted at by a staff member for moving a chair so he could sit with all of us and was made to put the chair back and told to stand or go elsewhere. Not to forget the extortionate taxi prices if you where to book a taxi for four people it would cost €25 but for a family of five it changed to €50??? The room cleaners also opened a room door on my sons friend while the do not disturb Sign was displayed on the door, this wouldn’t have been a problem if he wasn’t a 15 year old on his own in the bath, The manager of the hotel was seen shouting and arguing with guests on multiple occasions as well but over all this was not a raddioson experience in any way shape or from.

I like to leave honest reviews, but I have to say this is the first time I have ever had to write a 1 star review. This hotel is not 5 star, and not the quality of a Radisson because it's NO LONGER a Radisson. We stayed 28th October to 4th November and I can honestly say almost everything was appalling from start to finish. We contacted Radisson Group before we left on holiday to get some info on the resort (since the number for the hotel was disconnected after hanging up on us!) who told us then that the hotel was no longer a Radisson. This was already a major issue for us as that was why we booked to stay at the hotel, because we have had amazing experiences at other Radisson hotels. But what was worse, is that Radisson confirmed the reason the hotel was dropped was due to poor service as it did not meet their standards. That was already a huge red flag for us but we couldn't do anything as our trip was the next day and we couldn't cancel. The experience we had when we were there pretty much confirmed our worst fears. Everything from general poor service and rudeness from the staff who didn't want to serve us, dirty bedrooms with mouldy mattresses, dirty broken sinks and showers, etc., poor quality of the buffet food, lack of maintenance or care of the upkeep of the hotel, beach, and pools, no availability for the a la carte restaurants, half of the hotel's facilities closing down on our last 2 days... The list honestly goes on. The final straw for us was on our last day when a large group of guests at the hotel decided to approach the manager as everyone individually (including us) were fobbed off or disregarded by him and reception staff, despite everyone having the same concerns and issues. The manager's response to this was to call the police! And there was no violence or expletive language from the guests, but he clearly didn't want to deal with anyone and hid in his office! I could go on to give detailed accounts of everything we experienced, but my advice to anyone looking at these reviews is to look at just how many negative ones there are and the responses from the hotel themselves. Disgusting and unprofessional behaviour to say the least! They continue to delete them and repost them, but if you find them, this only goes to show the poor management and service from this hotel. I guarantee that if you are looking for a 5 star standard and quality hotel, please do not book this hotel.
