This place is incredible and a must-do for outdoor enthusiasts and any adventurist. Although situated on a busy road, the moment you enter the grounds, it feels like something from a Robinson Crusoe movie set. Even though the other units were occupied, we felt as though we were the only people there - it was quiet and serene, and the...

We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2011. While it was a little ways out of town, they picked us up from the airport no charge. Once we arrived, we were greeted by Om who was absolutely kind and gracious. She showed us to our cabin, which was rustic, but clean. We appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings, and...

Fern Paradise is a beautiful place based upon the beautiful and bountiful ferns surrounding this place. It is a rustic stay with good service. The manager Om was quite knowledgeable about the city and very helpful when it came to suggestions and directions. A little further out from Chiang Mai but can easily get there costing between 100 - 200...

The hotel success to remain their quality since my last stay. Still it is a lovely and a welcoming place. Nice small hotel run by a family. You can get advised and help around easily. Their Thai hospitality doesn't change. Pool area is nice. Breakfast is good and lots to eat. The room is comfortable and beautiful. The locations is...

We spent two nights at Fern Paradise while exploring Chiang Mai. It was far enough from the city center to be peaceful and green but close enough that a tuk-tuk ride wouldn't break the bank. Our room and the grounds were beautiful and the staff was kind and helpful.

We have spent two nights at Fern Paradise. We were picked up from the airport and then being greeted by Om during check in. He is a friendly host, introducing the resort to us, giving travel tips of the surrounding local areas, helping us to order taxi to the Old City as well as instructions of travelling back to the...

We spent 2 nights at Fern Paradise and enjoyed it a lot. It's a very shaded place, with lots of trees. Great for anyone who likes nature. I think all the rooms share a similar design: An open-air living room under the bungalow and the room and bathroom upstairs. They are simply and tastefully decorated and have everything you might...

Our first reaction when driving up the drive way was "wow" ferns and trees where everywhere we looked, the first thing we noticed when hopping out of the taxi was the coolness under the canape of beautiful ferns and trees, then we were greeted by Om!,(Manager) a very welcoming gentle spoken man. Om was so helpful in organising our tours,...

Fern paradise is a really nice place to chill out in for a few days while still allowing easy travel into the old city (about 10-20min in a Taxi/Song Thaew). Surrounded by amazing gardens that are always changing, you can walk around the large gardens, chill by the pool or enjoy some privacy in you very unique, clean & comfy...

“All the barns are lovely but some are larger than others. The one near the pool is noisier when the hotel is busy, obviously.”

“The murals in Wat Doi Saket main viharn were created by the local artist Chaiwat Waranon. Spend time admiring them. This information is from "Exploring Chiang Mai" by aurthur Oliver Hargreave. A book worth seeking out if you're in CM area. Tweechiol gardens are near "Fern Paradise" and worth 1/2 day exploration. Highly recommend renting bicycles to explore these gradens, a tram may also be available.”
