We stayed for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding st East Tisted. We enjoyed our stay very much. Kate is a superb hostess, kind and most welcoming. Our room was very comfortable, luxurious bed linens, towels and robes, we couldn't have asked for more. A good variety of hot drinks to choose from in our room as well. Kate's breakfast...

Little that I can add to previous comments. An extremely high standard of comfort, excellent facilities, the warmest of welcomes and as good a breakfast as you will find anywhere. Great location within easy reach of Winchester and Portsmouth and walkable across fields to Chawton with its interesting historical attractions.

We took friends this time so the excellent breakfast took even longer. Our first visit was in March last year when we really appreciated the open fire and cosy sitting room, this...

Kate is warm and welcoming and the facilities are second-to-none. We were there all too briefly only to crash out after a wedding but we are already planning a return visit when we will explore the beautiful surroundings and linger for longer over the delicious breakfast.

I stayed at Old Timbers Cottage during Jane Austen Regency Week and absolutely fell in love with Old Timbers. The cottage is charming, exceedingly clean, and comfortable.
