Channel View B&B is a great place to stay. Rooms are large and have comfortable chairs (these are absent from most hotel rooms), the food is great, and the hosts are very helpful in planning your stay. Location was convenient for downtown and many restaurants. Totally charming.

This really is the best place to stay and either rest your weary bones or use as a base for exploring Kodiak Island. Not only will you be housed in premium accommodation with a glorious outlook and gourmet breakfasts, you will be the guests of incomparable hosts. Mary and Ron are extremely generous with their time and sharing their knowledge...

Ron and Mary are the best. Friendly, helpful and Mary is a great cook. The view out of the upper story is wonderful. The self-contained rooms are great. Everything a couple needs to do their own cooking. Breakfast ingredients are supplied and you supply the rest. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, but very close to town.

The lower story is composed of a spacious studio and a self-catering one bedroom apartment (where these lovely guests stayed.) We provide breakfast food items for our apartment guests to prepare at their convenience, and on occasion, we...

Ron and Mary are terrific hosts at their charming bed and breakfast. It was quiet and comfortable and each day started with a delicious breakfast. Our last morning we were treated to King Salmon bites! The view was fabulous and there were always great tips on where to eat for dinner and where next to hike. Thank-you very much for...

My father and I closed out our yearly fishing trip with a two-night, three-day stop at the Channel View. Ron and Mary were exceptional hosts right from the moment we showed up. They were full of extremely useful and valuable information about Kodiak and the region (everything from animal viewing, star gazing, fossils, native information, local food, etc.) and sent...
