We felt right at home the moment we stepped through the door. mrs Potts (real name Beth) was most welcoming. She made an excellent continental breakfast with fresh fruit salad, a variety of cereals, yoghurt and home baked banana bread. And she let me use her washing machine and dryer. Our room and single beds were very comfortable, although we...

I'm so sorry that you did not feel comfortable and warm in my home. Extra teas and coffees are happily delivered when requested. Like Hawaii, (a bit cooler though) Kodiak has its own island mentality and people here generally take their shoes off when they enter a home.

I am a hotel snob, and a bathroom snob and no complaints here. The house was wonderful and cozy, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I stayed in the downstairs room with two beds. My bathroom was huge and had two double sinks and was private where the upstairs bathroom is shared. If...

Mrs.Potts was so nice and hospitable. We had our own bathroom. Breakfast was served on our timetable. She secured the taxi cab and was very informative about the area. Note there is no TV, but we did not come to Kodiak to watch TV. .

We loved our stay at Mrs. Potts. She and Mr. Potts live downstairs and rent out the upper floors of their comfortable, convenient house in Kodiak. It's just a short walk from downtown, many restaurants and cafes, and the Alaska ferry. Our spacious room had two comfortable double beds and a big closet, so we could hang up all our...

I had to travel short notice to Kodiak for work and all of the hotels were booked up! I contacted Mrs. Potts and she was more than accommodating. The breakfast every day was wonderful and I really enjoyed her stories. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone traveling to Kodiak.

Beth was very welcoming and very flexible about our ferry delayed arrival. She was also very accommodating about breakfast plans and menu. Our rooms were very comfortable and cozy and we were able to come and go at our leisure with our own key. Beth was a wealth of information about Kodiak and also Alaska and she was very pleasant...
