Wonderful vista surrounded by vines, an ideal location to explore Verona, Soave & wineries. Lake Garda, Milan & Venice not too far away. Eclectic homely charm of the villa comes with delightful owner Luisa and her enthusiastic local knowledge, sight seeing and restaurant tips.

We arrived to a lovely welcome. Unfortunately awful storm on our first day which caused considerable damaged on the property and around us. But Luisa soon got the villa back to normal and the local community all pull together. Luisa prepared us a beautiful meal With her family in our first night as the weather was bad. Our room was clean, bright and airy. Luisa recommendations for local restaurants excellent. Gorgeous place to stay with family friends or just a couple.

From the onset we had a fantastic welcome from the host and her lovely little dog (Prince). We had some great recommendations for dinner locations and local vineyards, which all turned out to be amazing. We visited the restaurant Enoteca Il Drago, in the beautiful medieval town of Soave. The food and location was incredible, and very fairly priced (see separate review). Villa Alleghenies itself is incredible, with a beautiful modern interior inside a classic Italian building. We managed to enjoy a quick swim in the pool before a massive thunderstorm unfortunately arrived. The rooms were very luxurious, clean and comfortable, with well needed air conditioning. We were given a fantastic breakfast spread in the kitchen the following morning, including pastries, cakes and fresh fruit and homemade jams. We have already recommended this hotel to many of our friends and family and will certainly be back as soon as we can plan another Italian wine trip. We thoroughly loved it so much and wish we could have stayed for longer.

Just arrived home after a 5 day stay at this wonderful place. The views are outstanding. It was our first time in Italy and Louisa, the owner could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble - even our request for a driver late at night to take us into town! Breakfast was amazing, I shall miss my morning cappucino overlooking the Vineyards very much! All in all a fantastic place to stay, if you want some relaxation and superb Italian hospitality then do yourself a favour and book yourselves in here. xxx

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Villa Aldegheri, Luisa is the most wonderful kind and thoughtful host, in fact when we left it felt like we were saying goodbye to family! :-) The villa is a fantastic building and the attention to detail and decor is very well thought out. The space downstairs for massage, yoga and sauna is very chilled. Luisa did a great job of organising everything for us before our arrival, we visited a fantastic vineyard, went horse riding and visited some wonderful restaurant recommendations. I would highly recommend Villa Aldegheri and would hope to come back some time soon.
