Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in the farm house we were a group of 6, such a lovely place and very relaxing after a days cycling.

Its a great base to stay, a little out the way if you want a bit busier but we were happy to come back and chill in the farm house.
It had good facilties to wash and charge our bikes, dry and wash our clothes too they have a drying room also have a shed to lock our bikes up.
its a very good base for lots of off roaders 4x4 and Mx Bikes.
The staff were friendly and nothing was too much bother.
They were very helpful showing us maps of the area and helped us find some cycle routes as alot of bthe routes we had planned were closed the time we went.
Would definetly go back and stay again.

We have just spent the most wonderful 4 nights at this idyllic retreat. We cannot praise this place enough. The family who run this establishment are so friendly and helpful and put their guests comfort and enjoyment as a priority. The dinners, all home made, were so delicious that I bought the recipe book so I can attempt to replicate the masterpieces.
During this Covid crisis, we felt totally safe there with all necessary precautions taken. Social distancing were strictly observed and there were numerous sanitisers dotted around the establishment.
This was our first visit and there is absolutely no doubt we will be back.

We arrived on Monday afternoon to a very warm welcome from our hosts, hot drinks and homemade drinks a plenty.
In our bedrooms we were greeted with a welcome pack which included two route planners, an OS map of the area a key ring and for some strange reasons a brolly.
The evening meal was excellent and they happily accommodated me when I said I did not eat lamb. The food was plentiful, hot and home made.
The next two days consisted of travelling through the Welsh countryside often on very narrow lanes with spectacular views: which could have only been improved on with sunshine not rain.....ah now I see the reason for the brolly.
We did not have our nor.al compliment of classic cars for varying reasons, but a 1948 Riley RM and a 1950's Alvis Grey Lady happily undertook the routes. The last time we did this holiday a 1936 Lanchester 10 did the drives. Thus no hesitation doing this holiday in older classic cars.
To sum up a brilliant holiday for people who are not afraid to put their classic cars through their places. Our hosts are friendly, welcoming and aim to help and please at all times. Covid measures were well thought out and carried out at all times. A fabulous holiday. We will be back.

I stayed in the Farmhouse which easily accommodated the group of 7 blokes in our party. The self catering house is spacious, warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean.

The hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere but the wifi was really good and phone reception ok.

We had breakfast each morning in the restaurant which included both continental and full English cuisine. The owners are chatty, helpful and efficient.

We had 4 vehicles with us and needed the use of their garage facilities which were offered free of charge.

We visited The Kings Head for dinner in nearby Llandovery which was really good. The town has plenty of other choices and a large Coop to stock up.

In all a great stay at a great hotel with fantastic views if the nearby viaduct...I look forward to a return visit.

A group of 9 of us visited this absolutely wonderful guest house which was to be our base for 4 days exploration of the beautiful Welsh countryside. From the moment we arrived and the warm welcome, we knew that this was going to be the right choice. This family owned and run guest house is one of those little gems you come across now and again. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and take pride in their business which shows in the spotless condition and smooth running of the guesthouse. The food is all homemade and cooked to perfection with nice presentation.
A very relaxing and enjoyable venue with superb views.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this to other groups either motorised or walking.

Our second visit to this fabulous activities venue and guest house once again provided a true “home from home” experience. Martin Hadley and his family, who have owned and run the business for the last 16 years, are the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived we felt safe, secure and welcomed. Martin’s mantra is to treat his guests the way he would expect to be treated, and he sets a very high standard for that and consistently exceeds our expectations. From the delicious home cooked food and the beautiful air of calm and relaxation throughout the establishment, to their extensive knowledge of the surrounding areas, and their willingness to engage with you to anticipate your every need, the Hadley Family literally leave you wanting for nothing. Our next trip is already booked!
Thank you Martin and Co.

By far the nicest people in the nicest accommodation I have had the pleasure to meet in a long while. Warm, friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms whilst on the smaller side were perfectly adequate and well presented.
The breakfast was perfect with great service again and plenty of coffee and toast. The evening meal was as good, if not better than most hotels I have dined in and while the choice is yes or no, we both found it well cooked, presented and served with plenty of desert choices.
Moving on to the off-roading part of our trip, being the local GLASS rep this fella know the lanes very well and offers expert advice.
I would love to visit in the summer to sit on the terrace and enjoy the views in the sun.

A family break with our mother prior to her starting her hospital treatment.

This place has everything that I would want. Comfortable rooms with powerful showers, wonderful hosts, fantastic food, good selection of reasonably priced beers and beautiful countryside.

Breakfast-plenty to choose from and it was impossible to leave the table hungry. Our hosts were very attentive, Martin and Andrew kept a ready supply of tea, coffee and toast.

Dinner on Saturday night was a starter of anti-pasti, main course beautifully cooked lamb with a selection of desserts, the majority of us opting for Eton Mess and Martin assured the ladies that it was calorie free. Mark was the chef that evening and the food was cooked to perfection,

Martin, his sons Mark and Andrew work tirelessly to keep the friendly and homely feeling guesthouse in tip-top condition. Our mother was well relaxed and really enjoyed her stay.

Thank you all for a very memorable stay and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Our stay at Llanerchidda was once again amazing.
We came as part of an organised group for a car rally around the Welsh countryside.
On arrival we were treated to afternoon tea and cake, which was appreciated after a long drive to get there.
Every morning we had a full English breakfast to set us up for the day.
After a day of following a tulip map around the countryside we arrive back for afternoon tea with cake.
After a snooze and a refresh a delicious day 3 course evening meal was served.
The Hadley family treated us as if we were part of their family.
I cannot fault anything about our stay. I was amazing.
Thank you Martin and Team.

A cheeky long weekend away to celebrate our anniversary.
Once again the Hadley family didn’t disappoint

The farm location is as always stunning. Set half way up a hill overlooking a viaduct and rolling hills.
We stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage which has a kitchen/dinning room and living room. Two of the rooms are en-suite. The 3rd has a shower room down stairs.

We stayed for bed, breakfast and evening meal and we were not disappointed.
Breakfast is a choice of full english, pastries, yogurt or fruit.
Evening meal is 3 courses of home cooked loveliness. All finished off with tea/coffee and mints.
.
If you like adventure you can pre-arrange outdoor activities (e.g clay pigeon shooting).

We will be back as it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the best the country can provide.
