This lovely guest house has a great homely feel. The gardens are so lovely and well maintained with so much to see. Inside the owners are very welcoming. The room was basic but very clean and warm and had everything I needed. The breakfast was first class. It was cooked to order and just perfect. Lots to choose from. Amazing... More

Easily accessible B&B on outskirts of Carlisle. Sue gave me a very warm and friendly welcome and even in the middle of a messy DIY job, Peter was smiling. Whilst there is a tiny bit of road noise (because that's why it's easily accessible), it's a tranquil setting with a lovely garden. Breakfast set me up for a three hundred... More

i have stayed now three times at Hazeldean Guest House and it has been lovely. The rooms are comfortable and both rooms I stayed in, were en suite. Sue and her husband were lovely and welcoming and it really is a home from home. I would recommend it to all.

We chose Hazeldean because we had something to do in the area. We were only staying one night. The room (3?) was a good size with a bathroom ensuite and reasonably priced. Breakfast was fine for the price paid. No issues and would use again

Despite have a dairy and wheat intolerance Sue found ways round it, and on both nights I had a lovely meal, with meal times to fit in with my day's activities. The local bus service to... More
